Description:

The stylish and compact 15DL72 offers a 15-inch, low-reflectivity TFT LCD screen, an internal NTSC tuner for convenient broadcast-television viewing, a 1,024 x 768 XGA-resolution picture, and 160-degree-by-160-degree viewing angles. Image quality is enhanced by a four-line digital comb filter, a high contrast ratio (400:1), and impressive peak brightness of 400 candles/square meter. The 15DL72 can be easily moved between rooms, and you can set the TV on a table or mount it on a wall (using an optional wall bracket).

The 15DL72 features Toshiba's proprietary ColorStream HD component-video inputs capable of receiving 480i, 480p, and 1080i HDTV signals, making the set perfect for use with DTV set-top boxes and progressive-scan DVD players. Composite-video and S-video inputs (with accompanying left-right analog audio jacks) ensure compatibility with a range of audio-video equipment, and there's even an RF input for an older VCR or cable box. The built-in NTSC tuner provides 181-channel tuning for convenient broadcast-TV viewing, and a set of AV output jacks lets you hook the TV into an audio receiver for listening over home speakers.

SRS WOW is a combination of three unique soundfield enhancements. SRS 3D creates a wide, three-dimensional sound from two TV speakers. TruBass boosts bass-frequency perception for more dramatic low-frequency effects. And FOCUS raises the perceived sound image vertically to create clearer voices, even at low volume. The combination of these features dramatically improves home-theater sound. A headphone jack fosters private listening. The television also offers an on-off timer, parental controls, closed captioning, an AC adapter jack, and a glow-in-the-dark remote control.
