Summary: Great Concert
Review: I never liked them all that much, but what a concert - a must for all music lovers!

Summary: FAB
Review: I ran across this by accident while browsing [Amazon.com], and purchased it because of the songlist & some good reviews. This far exceeded my expectations. Truly one of the best concert DVDs I have seen. And amazingly it gets better with repeated viewing, which is rare. Sound is fabulous & the band is in top form. Everyone is having a good time. My only complaint is the audience clapping is not in sync, but that is probably a more accurate to the real stadium experience. Also, I'm not crazy about the military fatigue costuming, but I realize how it fits thematically with the "peace soldiers" concept. All the girls are too pretty for those costumes, but that's just me... Anyway, the concert is a great thing-- best numbers are "chill" "miracle" "rain"-- and the supplemental documentary is awesome as well.

Get it, you'll be happy...

Summary: The're fantastic in this concert!!!
Review: I saw the PEACE Tour concert on DirecTV in April 2000. Watching Annie and Dave perform, entralled me to watch it eight times over the course of the month. I have been waiting for PEACE to come out in DVD format. Nothing else has enticed me to purchase a DVD player before, up until now. I already had Annie's solo work and the Eurythmics Greatest Hits. The PEACE concert made me realize again what a great musical team Annie and Dave create. Seeing them without a video theme and glam slam makeup was a visual treat. PEACE is more reality based, besides being for an excellent cause, Greepeace and Amnesty International. The PEACE concert made me go out and purchase all of their past music. I love seeing them in their most 'mature' stage of their lives. Annie's deeper and mature voice and Dave's seasoned guitar playing is fabulous. If you want to see Annie in a reality based environment, I also urge you to purchase her Central Park video. After you see this PEACE concert, I guarantee you will love them again or even more. Yes, the military look takes some getting use to, but I like it. It brings them down to earth, and does not get in the way of their wonderful music. This concert has it all: past, present, future(?). Buy it and see it for yourself!!

Summary: DVD quality good. Quality of the Eurythmics: HORRIBLE!
Review: I was given this DVD as a gift. My friend knew I liked 80s/new wave music. The technical aspects of this DVD are fabulous. Great picture & sound quality.

But The Eurythmics are terribly bland. Boring synth melodies run together to create this collection of unmemorable songs. If anyone else has received this as a gift, I pity you.

Summary: Fantastic
Review: I went to the PeaceTour Concert in Sydney and it is almost like being there with the high levels of sound quality that is on this DVD. It has lots of great Acoustic numbers that are typical Dave and Annie. I hope Annie Lennox brings out a DVD of one of her solo concerts.

Summary: Living Proof That Not All Artists Are Made In A Studio
Review: I've read other reviews posted here and what I think they have all failed to touch on is this: Live is the proof in the pudding! If you can listen to the stripped down to guitar versions of some of their most popular songs they render here like only they can, and NOT have chills listening to Annie break her heart up into pieces and vocalize it, then you are the one who placed the chill in her heart.Watch Dave look at her as she sings and pick up on when she is going to hold a note out and when she is not while backing her with nothing but a few strums of a guitar! THAT! Is the meaning of ART. Listening to the different arrangements they have come up with for some of their most popular songs is reason enough to buy this DVD.

Summary: A few good songs
Review: Overall, not as good as I was expecting but o.k. Relative to other concert dvd's a 3 star. Better to rent this one.

Summary: Rewind It, And Watch It Again
Review: There is no stopping the Eurythmics. In this fantastic 1 Hour and 36 minute video, they lash out almost every hit they had back in the 80's. Annie's Voice, and Dave's guitar experience, makes them one of the fantastic duo of the 80's. A must get for any Eurythmics fan.
