Summary: I love this DVD
Review: after i got on video, my freind told me it was coming out on DVD and i was upset. aside from that, this DVD is awsome. in the begining of the dvd, they show a brief documetry of AIC (pre-columbia years). the documentry is about 10 min. then they show an un-released video for We Die Young, which was performed live(i think). then they show the original videos from We Die Youn to Get Born Again. whats also amazing, is that between every two videos they show some funny behind the scenes shot by the band while touring. the video for Sea Of Sorrow on this DVD is totally diffirent than the one in Live FACELIFT. i'm a little dissaponited with Sea Of Sorrow, because they edited (...)out of that video(especially Jerry's solo). my favorite videos are Man In The Box, Angry Chair, and Again. all the videos are pretty dark artistic. I think in an interview, Layne said he doesn't like making videos. and he also said they are great because all the videos show you what AIC see. I REALLY recommend this DVD.

PS: check out Sean Kinney's humor.

Summary: the best way to make you remember them.
Review: After you watch it you'll be singing the songs during the day, the sound is so great that you just can't watch the videos quietly, you'll put it louder and louder and louder. This is one of the best dvd's I have. It is indeed a purchase you have to make. even watching the credits while listening to the while & wasp tune it takes you to the thought "how I wish you were alive Lane".

Summary: One of the best!
Review: Alice in Chains was one of the most talented bands of the 90s. Falling somewhere in the mix of metal, grunge and alternative these boys from Seattle really tore it up and this video is a great creative representation of this. The videos and cool extras really make it a worthwhile purchase! I wish Candlebox would follow suit and release a similar DVD.

Summary: Man in the box? You better let him out!!!!!
Review: Alice In chains were great! That band had good lyrics and Jerry's guitar playing was amazing! Also out of all of the Seatle bands they had to of been the darkest one! With songs titles like We Die Young, and Angry Chair the band was often overlooked or underrated. They had violent lyrics but, at the same time that had great songs! This DVD is it if special features are your interest! It has a discography, home video footage, and every Alice In Chains video! Including We Die Young the seatle version and Rooster in its uncut version! ... They were that good! Almost being to the point of were it is a joke! Buy this DVD and see if they change your life just like they did mine! R.I.P. Layne for your soul will be remembered but, not forgot!

Summary: WOW!!
Review: Another must for fans of AIC's uniqueness. As well as some truly great videos, this features documentary footage (some very, very funny stuff!!) from before the band became big, and gives you an insight into their characters & personalities.

Highlights include the "We Die Young" videos and "I Stay Away"

I really, really miss this band! *sob*

Buy it!!!!

Summary: Stick with the VHS version
Review: As I'm sure some others have pointed out, this DVD has a few problems with the sound (was mine a defect?). In all the actual music video segments, the different tracks were all mastered wrong or something. Some of the solos are inaudible, the vocal harmony is louder than the lead, and a lot of the tracks are just not there. This is just painful to listen to. It's sad... had the sound worked, this would have been a great DVD. I hear there are no problems with the VHS version.

Summary: Perfect DVD
Review: Easy to nav, awesome picture & sound. The home movies are an addition, not a distraction. This accurately shows the greatness of AIC.
