Summary: GREAT PERFORMANCE AND SOUND BUT...
Review: If you have an RCA model# RC5231Z DVD player don't buy it 'cause this DVD player reads a recording error the disc has and it will freez after the great fired up drum solo then it skips to poison, in poison becomes a mess 'till the end freezing and skipping all the way . I experienced it and I had to return it back. if you buy it you better have a PROGRESSIVE SCAN DVD player and make sure it's not RCA RC5231Z

Summary: For pure entertainment value, The Coop is hard to pass up.
Review: More than a decade after The Coop's last concert video ALICE COOPER TRASHES THE WORLD comes this DVD of his BRUTAL PLANET tour, filmed in London on July 19, 2000.
The stage show for the tour is Alice's usual combo of hi-tech and tack.
There are 25 tracks on this DVD, several of which the viewer can use alternate camera angles. The set list is OK- 7 BRUTAL PLANET cuts plus classics like POISON, NO MORE MR. NICE GUY and ONLY WOMEN BLEED , plus DEAD BABIES, IT'S HOT TONIGHT from the LACE AND WHISKEY album and a cover of The Who's MY GENERATION- and during the show Alice is wearing a t-shirt which says "Britney Wants Me... DEAD". Marilyn Manson needs to get a sense of humor if he wants to stick around as long as Alice has.
Sure, artists like Manson and Slipknot may be stealing some of Alice's thunder in the shock stakes; but even though Alice is one of metal's elder statesmen he can still teach these young whipper snappers a thing or two about true showmanship and PURE ENTERTAINMENT.
Special highlights include PICK UP THE BONES; a song inspired by a news item on Kosovo, which is even more chilling live, Eric Singer's brilliant drum solo with flaming sticks and Alice referring to Manson, Ozzy and Kiss as "My undisciplined children" when he sees some of the audience in Manson t-shirts. How cool is that? Also part of the show is Alice's (very cute) daughter Calico in dual roles as a "Whip dancer" and also as the nurse who does the honors during DWIGHT FRYE. I'll bet there aren't many kids who can say they get to put their Dad in a strait-jacket every night! DVD extras include a weblink and the video for GIMME.

Summary: If you're a rock musician this DVD is a must
Review: No lip synching or guitar synching here!

The movie filming is pretty good at giving you both
Alice as well as both hands of the guitar players.

There are 2 camera men up close. Two back a bit. I think.

You also get a bit of the audience having a good time ...

Something I enjoyed a lot ...

A teen woman raising her hand for only "Women Bleed"
and Alice signing to her.

Alice slapping hands with fans during "Poison" so hard their
hands must hurt.

Another teen woman in the front row who is throughly stoned
trying to seduce Alice.

A mom and pop enjoying rock with their 13 year old to
enjoy the sensation of great rock. Alice gives
them a cane.

A few scary types singing along to "Wicked Young Man"
and "Blow Me Away".

...

Nothing like N'Sync or one of today's manufactured performances.

I especially enjoyed the guitar work of Pete Frisen.
But the rest of the crew was impressive, Ryan
Roxie, Eric Singer (drummer from Kiss), and

Bruce Smith (bass).

These guys danced up a storm - but also played like
the new the drill. I'd place Friesen up there with
Steve Howe of YES.

Fun to see Ryan and Pete at least are living out
my teenage dream of playing wonderful guitar stuff
for a turned on crowd.

I've watched this over and over. Alice's new stuff
is very hard rock - on par with Rob Zombie.

...

The only thing you don't get from watching at home
that you don't get live is that live the band
is very very loud.

Summary: Most disappointed
Review: OF all the DTS cds that I own this one proved to be the most disappointing. I was expecting more -- better showmanship and video and better sound mixing. Compared to the Eagles or BeeGees DTS -- this is a poor runner up. Unless you are a died-hard Alice fan -- spend your money elsewehere. This CD doesn't compete with others.

Summary: 52 years of hard rock perfection... THE MASTER live!
Review: On October 31, 2000, I had the HONOR of seeing the final show of this tour in New York City to a packed crowd, and no Halloween will ever be the same. To see a similar show on DVD proved that I missed quite a spectacle while staring in awe at the master. What a great concert. On top of some killer new songs from the epic Brutal Planet, Alice Cooper and company dig deep and dish out some rare classics. Awesome songs, stage props, the guillotine, his hot daughter as a nurse and executioner, you can't go wrong... unless your pulse is stagnant.

I've seen enough live shows to know that even on DVD, Brutally Live is better than more performers can dream to exhibit...

Summary: Alice Cooper Brutally Live
Review: Once again Alice Cooper has rocked music lovers and concertgoers in another world tour. Brutally Live is a mix of new Alice material blended perfectly with the classic Alice that shock rocked the world in the early 70's. Brutally Live is a eye widening theatrical show from start to finish that will never let you forget Alice is the KING OF SHOCK ROCK that nobody can duplicate.

Summary: I feel ripped off!
Review: Shortly after I purchased this, they reissue this with a free audio CD?! Is there some way I can receive this without selling my old DVD and repurchasing this product??

Summary: Coop Rocks!
Review: Take it from someone who's been listening since she was 7 years old, nobody beats Coop! Even if you're just mildly curious about him and are just familiar with a few of his songs, this really is a must see. There's a good chance you will get hooked!

Love him, yes we love him!

Summary: Alice Cooper Brutally Live
Review: Talk about live or memorex. Nowhere near as good as the live show, but it does give you a different perspective and some awesome close ups of Alice. An absolute genius in the music, lyrics, and show production. Some Hollywood producers could use his talent and foresight. Things missing from the show? They put My Generation on the list of titles, but its not on the video. They didn't show the flaming drum solo. Too bad- go see the show!
