Summary: BOO-YAH! Weird Al!!
Review: A great DVD for lovers of Al's work.
Clever parodies of popular music acts that don't just make fun of the original artists, but of everything else that was going on at the time these music acts were popular.
Experiencing Weird Al is like reading Time magazine... If Time magazine were written by someone as witty and charismatic as AL, that is.

This is a great compilation of his video works.
My only complaint is that there is no commentary track. I would LOVE to hear Al's thoughts about all of these pop-culture gems...
Oh, yeah, and Disney made him take out the credit in-jokes for the "Spy Hard" track, ruining 2 nice visual jokes in that particular video. But nonetheless, there are so many cool jokes and sight gags spread thruought Al's work on this DVD, they far outweigh those trivial complaints... "27"!

If you're a Close Personal Friend Of Al, you have no choice. You MUST Buy this DVD.

If you've only recently heard of Weird Al, I highly recommend that you buy this, so that you may become more acquainted with the entertaining silliness that belies his true and often hidden-for-the-sake-of-entertainment intelligence.

Weird Al is the master of parody. If you like parody and haven't heard of Weird Al, then I'm sorry but you are afflicted with an unfortunately less than obscure brain disease called stupidity.
Perhaps buying this can help you cure it! Give it a try!

Sure that MIGHT cure it, but sending me 10 million dollars (US) would surely cure it. Don't you want to heal yourself and be cured? :)

Send all of your money to...

(This message edited by the common-sense police.. instead of sending your money to Al or this guy, send it to...)

Summary: Great, but something missing...
Review: Al is really great... I discovered his videos just few months ago on the Internet. And when I found out that these videos are available on DVD, it didn't take long to order it... Finally, it arrived. And what? See the subject... Videos are great. But some of them are in really poooor quality. I was hoping for ANYTHING extra - at least subtitles to understand all the lyrics. Not mentioning the interviews or behind-the-scenes... Generally, you could expect something more for that price. But I don't regret this purchase.

Summary: Al goes best, but DVD goes worst
Review: Al is the best, no doubt about it. Music Videos are so funny and the lyrics are cool. But, the DVD itself is very poor. I don't know why it isn't VHS but DVD, because its quality is so poor, there's no feature something only for DVD. Screens are *very* noisy and ugly. No subtitles, No lyrics, No supplement at all. If you don't know about Al, you will be embarrassed for absencing of any information about Al, even a simple profile or something. (But the Music Videos will makes you Al's fan, I do bet.)

If you are Al's fan, this one is a essential one, but its quality can disappoint you, possibly. So don't expect too much before you get this!

Summary: This is one of the favorites in my DVD collection!
Review: Everyone loves Weird Al. He's just like the crazy best friend we all had as a kid. I own this DVD and have seen it over and over, and there's always something new. It's loaded with sight gags, wacky spoofs, satire, and just plain crazy fun. It's especially funny if you watched a lot of MTV as a kid. My favorite is an Al original titled "Dare to be Stupid", a take-off on Devo "De-Evolution". There are many videos on this DVD which never really made it to MTV that also are very good, like "Christmas at Ground Zero". One sour note is the lack of a menu or extras of any kind on the DVD. Hey Al, when are you going to put out the Weird Al Show on DVD? I'd love to see that!

Summary: fantastic parody clips
Review: Fantastic Great video's from the master in parody himself Picture quality is good, menu from DVD not. Parody of the video love in the elevator from aerosmith is missing on this DVD and that's a pitty. Al is not famous in the netherlands, but I'm a fan after watching this DVD.

Summary: The Best Of Al- But not on VHS
Review: First off, a slap to Al with a rubber chicken for not releasing this on VHS also. Hopefully that will be done in the future. Now for the real reson you're here... My opinion! :) If you're a fan of Weird Al then this DVD is a must have. No where else can you find all of his videos in one place. From "Like A Surgeon", "Eat It", "Fat" & "Amish Paradise" this has them all, including some that I'd forgotten about (like "Living with a Hernia" & "One More Minute"). You can chose to go directly to a certain video from the menu screen & the liner notes inside the box gives some info on when, where & if someone famous was in the video (like Florence Henderson in Amish Paradise). The only thing better would have been to have the original video first & then the parody so you could compare them. Maybe next time.. As you can tell, I was pleased with the video & I think you will be also.

Summary: Some people are never happy...
Review: First thing is first. Al is a god. This DVD is pretty great. It's a shame that it's getting a bad name because people are whining about it not being on VHS. And you guys call yourselves fans. Where were you when the first collection came out on VHS? Or when the Alapalooza and Bad Hair Day videos came out. You should already have these videos. And you should be watching them non stop rather than complaining because you don't have them all nice and neat on one collection. Be happy with what ya got and be satisfied by the fact that Al will make more. Never fear.

Summary: Why it's not on VHS
Review: For all the people who have complained because it isn't on VHS, here's your answer. DVD's have better sound and picture. And if you got it on VHS are you going to fast-forward and re-wind to the song you have an urge to listen and watch? So stop complaining and buy a DVD player.

Summary: I'm laughing at popculture. An unnatural resource.
Review: Got to be honest. Seeing Al brings a mysterious grin and giggle, however loading a C.D. at a party without anybody knowing it's a "blasphemy" of... Well... you know... Got to go... My three toed sloath is casting a spell against my former caligraphy and Nostrel Spelunking professor. Bye..
