Summary: A-ha has STILL got it!!!
Review: I've been an a-ha fan from the Hunting High and Low days. I've always been amazed at Morten's vocals...he is my MOST favorite male vocalist by far. It is such a shame that they have no recognition or play time in the US. These guys are REAL artists---not a band that simply dances around doing a buncha choreographed moves during a concert. They concentrate on creating great music, period! This DVD showcases their return after their hiatus and I couldn't be happier. I had to get it since my chances of ever seeing them in the states are little to none. If only the record labels would promote them like they do these ...teeny bop groups I would be a happy man. The concert shows A-ha as not a synthy band but rooted more in piano, drums, and acoustic and electric guitar. GREAT DVD concert! HIGHLY recommended to anyone who even owns 1 A-ha album. Great show A-ha...now PLEASE come to the US!

Summary: A fantastic concert and a DVD loaded with material !!
Review: If you haven't seen A-ha for some time, then I'm sure you will be pleasently surprised. Highly profesional musicians, songwriters and singer............ and they look even much better now in their 40's than they did in their 20's !

This is a DVD that showcases A-ha as the serious entertainers they are and not the teenage bubble gum image that were stuck on them for quite some time ( Thanks to a hopeless recordcompany )

There are over 60 different websites about this group so go and search for A-ha. A good starting point is ofcourse their official website .

Their next concert is in Bergen, Norway on the 4th of June 2004. Get your tickets if you can afford a planeticket !!

Summary: HHMMMMMM........................................
Review: If your a die-hard a-ha fan then I suppose that you would/should LOVE this dvd. I have loved aha for over 17 years but yet this DVD lacks something.......Its kind of hard to Hear Morten on some songs and its kind of boring to a certain degree. Granted I was VERY happy to purchase it and add it to my a-ha collection but at the same time im kinda disappointed in it. The free little cd that comes with it isnt bad. Will always be a a-ha fan regardless but the live video's they put out all need more work...maybe then should use somebody other than Lauren to do some of the work.

Summary: Absolutely Brilliant
Review: It is nothing short of a crime that a-ha are not the stars in the U.S. that they continue to be in all of Europe. I guess we have Warner Music to thank for that. This is a band that improves with every album they release. This DVD, their live comeback after a 7-year hiatus, is a crowning acheivement. It shows just how far they've come from the relatively empty-headed synth-pop song "Take On Me," that is unfortunately all most Americans know about them. The concert, in support of MINOR EARTH MAJOR SKY, is beautifully staged and shot. The sound quality is pristine, especially if you have a 5.1 system. Wow. The band is aging well (all in their early 40's), and the re-workings of older songs are pulled off flawlessly. Expect more guitars than synthesizers, and not a drum machine in sight. The DVD is packed with great extras, including four videos from MINOR EARTH.... There are also extensive interviews, backstage footage, and a bonus live performance. Worth every penny you'll spend on it. P.S. Morten can still hit those high notes. I'd like to hear any flavor-of-the-month pop star try to compete.

Summary: Good DVD
Review: It's a good DVD, however the sound quality as some people have suggested, is not the greatest. I have heard better quality sound on Peter Gabriel Concert DVD.. keep in mind the concert was originally recorded in 1994. They should have done a better sound recording on this concert.. and I would love to hear it in DTS.

Summary: PERFECT
Review: Just a word 'Perfect'. if you are an A-HA fan don't wait just get it. The picture and sound quality is superb. I would buy that DVD just for the song 'Hunting high and low'. What a good performance by A-HA. Especially the last part of the concert is perfect. Don't miss it!

Summary: A-Ha at their absolute best!
Review: One of the most successful pop groups of the past two decades return to the U.S. as Music Video Distributors unleases a-ha Homecoming Live at Vallhall to buy on DVD. Having completed a successful tour of Japan and Europe in 2000, a-ha returned to their native Norway for two sell-out shows at Oslo's new football arena; Vallhall. This DVD is a recording of the sensational first night on March 24, 2001. Drawing on their six previous studio albums 'Homecoming' features a-ha's biggest and best loved hits including, 'The Sun Always Shines On TV', 'Hunting High and Low', James Bond theme 'The Living Daylights' and ending on their breakthrough 'Take On Me'. The concert also brings us up to date with several more reflective and personal tracks from their critically acclaimed, highly successful album, 'Minor Earth Major Sky' (2000).

Summary: Simply Amazing!!!!!
Review: Simply put, this is the best live DVD I have ever seen!! The music is beautifully crafted, the lighting is superb, and the vocals....well, there is just not a word in the english language to describe just how magnificent they are!!! This group may once have been passed off as nothing more than pretty faced pop stars, but with their comeback cd's "Minor Earth, Major Sky" and "Lifelines" and now this unbelievably well crafted concert DVD, they proved that they are so much more. This is entertainment for anyone who enjoys listening to "real" music, and gives new meaning to the words "easy listening". A real treasure!!
