Summary: Athens will never be the same!
Review: Downtown Athens was packed with more than 75,000 people to here this free live event. Widespread Panic is one of the most talented musical groups out there. In this video you will see that this Athens based musical group is one of the best. The video is great, but if you have not experienced a live show then you have not experienced the full affect.

Summary: Bad news spreadhead, ya gotta get the dvd....
Review: If you already own the vhs to this great show, ...and if you have a dvd player, it's time to shell out another ...[undiscloseddollar amount]. The picture quality is better, the audio sounds much better with a 5.1 mix. The main reason though, if better sound and video aren't enough, is that as a bonus they included the wonderful long out of print "Live at the Georgia Theatre" show as well!!! Great early Panic performance! Five stars is putting it mildly. Buy this now!

Summary: Where do I begin???
Review: Man what an awesome video...gave me chill bumps. Went down in history as the largest release party ever. Lots of awesome close ups of the band and some AMAZING scenes of fields, and woods and stuff, very cool. A must have for any panic fan. Also includes a clip of JB singin the national anthem at a baseball game

Summary: AWESOME!!!!
Review: This is a gret dvd. Not the best. I put it behind Abb at the Beacon and Deepest End on best jam band dvds. But the hole band is tight, and herman is great on the keys. He adds so much shape to this dvd.

Summary: An Honest Tune......
Review: This magical video recaps one of the biggest concerts in Panic's long, widespread career. As a spreadhead myself, I think that the video was a brillant collaboration of not only the band's great music, but also of he devoted fans and the people of Athens, who put them on the map. It is a must for any music fan.

Review: This video commemorates Music Day in Athens, GA April 18, 1998 - specifically hometown music heroes Widespread Panic and their record-breaking CD release party. For the group's first-ever live album "Light Fuse, Get Away" they decided to throw a little party by having a free show. Well, 70,000 to 100,000 people showed from all over the country. I personally attended with devoted fans from Montana, Colorado, and Kansas. Panic friend and Academy Award winner Billy Bob Thornton directs this concert video and intersperses scenes from Music Day and locations in and around Athens itself. Memorable scenes include Athens Mayor Gwen O'Looney urging the crowd to not "destroy [her] town"; a wedding that took place in Athens earlier in the day; and lead singer John Bell (JB) singing the national anthem at the UGa-Kentucky baseball game earlier in the day.

This is a must have if you like the Panic, and if you've just heard them, this is your opportunity to see the boys in action. Also comes with a four-track CD from the 4/18/98 show.
