Young Californian Joy Enriquez sings her heart out in exotic sites in Puerto Rico in this installment of the Music in High Places travel and music series. The 11-time Star Search winner performs with a small band in various settings, including atop a battlement of the historic El Morro fortress, inside an enormous cavern, and at an old sugar refinery. The photography is often striking, and Enriquez, who is attired in a succession of halter tops, wrap skirts, and sandals, comes across as an attractive young woman who is serious about her vocal abilities. While not singing, she acts like a typical tourist, marveling over the scenery and talking to the locals, and she demonstrates a self-effacing sense of humor.
