Repossession Live is a lively 95-minute show featuring Ice-T and his crew, SMG (Sex Money & Gunz). Filmed at B.B. King's Blues Club in New York, the release is aimed more at the hardcore fan than the casual observer. As Ice has progressed as an actor--leading to a role on the top-rated Law and Order: Special Victims Unit--his skills as a rapper have stagnated to some extent, and the best material stems from his creative peak in the late 1980s and early 1990s ("You Played Yourself," "New Jack Hustler"). Still, he's as fired up as ever, stomping across the stage, spraying the crowd with water, quizzing them on hip-hop history, and giving props to longtime DJ Evil-E and special guest, Public Enemy's Flavor Flav.
