Review: Beausoleil has always been one of my favorite live bands and this DVD highlights some of their very best material in front of a JazzFest audience ready to have a good time. The camera work is especially good and it's nice to have some interview clips interspersed with the live set. The sound is pristine. All these guys are at the top of their game and play so well and make it look so easy. Some of my favorite tunes on here are "La Danse De La Vie," "Newz Reel", and "Poison Love." The extras are great too. Interviews with the band members and music videos which I gotta think are nearly impossible to see elsewhere. All in all an excellent package and a good reason to head out and see Beausoleil the next time they come to your town.
