Summary: A hard to believe but enjoyable movie
Review: After watching the movie, I had to sit there and think who was the real victim of it all. I hate to say it, but the plot was a bit contrived, but it still kept me on my toes till the last minute. I enjoyed the movie, but the low budget shows off fairly well.

What could have made the movie better, would have been better editing and better music. The generic alternative rock sound was just that... generic. There was nothing too appealing about the soundtrack, and it's especially important when you have it in your intro. I felt like I was about to watch a low budget skin flick in the beginning, but the movie began to take a more interesting form towards the middle. And of course, there were scenes in the movie as if an immature little kid was holding the camera. And a few stale shots prevented this movie from becoming a theatrical contender.

I would like to give this film even a five-star, but it lacked the ingredients it needed to be something worthy to be shown in the theatres. So, it's a close four star rating from me, but didn't quite make it there either. Or perhaps, it WOULD have been better in the theaters.

Summary: Lillard was Excellent as Usual!
Review: As a fan of Matthew Lillard, I have to say this was a good movie. It wasn't the best I have seen, but I enjoyed it. I wouldn't recommend that you get too excited about it, but I think it's worth a watch!

Summary: Suspense make this a better 'Curve"
Review: Fascinating storyline tie-in with college myth that if your roommate dies you get a 4.0 for the semester. Movie had that "Scream" suspense in it. Matthew Lillard and Keri Russell are dynamite, and so is Michael Vartan. Must-see for horror-suspense fans! With a budget of $1 million, it was worth it and to see a sequel would be wonderful, but let's not go that far.

Summary: Russel is beautiful, script and music suck
Review: Great cast, poor script, poor directing -- contrieved plot. Dug the composer's name "shark"... is that fat ugly guy behind the counter in the coffee shop the same guy walking across campus in the opening title sequence? Is that the director? How self-indulgent. He ain't no Hitchcock.

Summary: Awesome plot and suspense
Review: Great plot and suspense! It's the Usual Suspects set to a college enviornment!
The plot twists and turns, keeping you constantly guessing, with no way for you to know how it ends. It's one of those films, like the Usual Suspects, that you want to watch multiple times and every time you see it you catch something new.
The dialogue is clever, the acting superb. This is a definite must-see!!!!!

Summary: Curve Score Rules!
Review: I can't believe no one's mentioned how great this film's soundtrack is!!! I've never heard that version of Bauhaus' Bela before. It rocks. There's also some new bands that rock as well. Whose Starbelly? Or the Borrowers? THC?I think were going to be hearing alot from these bands. And I never thought "Cruel to Be Kind" needed to be redone until I heard the Connell's take on it. Most films nowadays are just a bunch of 80s retreads but this film's score and soundtrack not only match musically but thematically. Where can I find the soundtrack? Anybody know? I want it now!

Summary: Good Thriller
Review: I found this film very entertaining. Although I thought there'd be a twist at the end it wasn't the one I was expecting.

You can't exactly 'warm' to the character's but Matthew Lillard is excellent as instigator and plays his role with his usual energy. Michael Vartan is also good as his room mate who reluctantly helps Lillard carry out the killing.

The film leads you first one way and then another until the final dramatic ending. Even though you'll think you've guessed it, chances are you haven't!

Summary: This was the best movie I've seen in awhile!!
Review: I just recently watched "The Curve" and now am totally infatuated with it! It has to be one of the most interesting movies I've seen in awhile. The plot and the characters leave you guessing and wondering throughout the whole movie, right up to the ending. This movie was new, fresh, mysterious, and fun. A total 5 stars for "The Curve". I recommend it to anyone who likes a movie that contains the mystery of "I know what you did last summer", and the plot of "Dead Man on campus". GO WATCH IT< You won't regret it at all!!

Summary: bitter americans don't "get it"!
Review: I liked the film and was surprised to read some of these bad reveiws which seemed like thinly veiled resentful ex-producers lashing out. Having seen the film on the big screen in England it surprises me to here people in the US refer to the film as some Cable cash in on "Scream". It was at Sundance BEFORE Dead Man on Campus, Idle Hands, etc. In the UK this film was seen as a clever take on "good-looking selfish American killers". No, I don't like these people but, isn't that the point? And be honest, you might have predicted that there would be "A" twist but not the twists that happened. I saw the film again on video and really enjoyed watching it knowing the outcome. P.S. Pick up the soundtrack, the Goth/Herrmann hybrid is very Cool indeed!
