Review: "I know one thing...We find that crazy typewriter, we'll find our kidnapper." is a great quote by John Candy in this fun-filled film, Who's Harry Crumb?. Very catchy title. Great performance by John Candy. Only John Candy can shine in this role of Harry Crumb despite the fact most of the other actors' performances have been sub-par. The comedy is inconsistent. When the moment arrives for a laugh, it is well worth it. Good lines. Great jokes but far few in this film. Almost a rip-off copy of the film Fletch when I noticed John Candy pulling off jokes while being different characters other than Harry Crumb. One character stands out to be the best disguise is John Candy's Deszu Djizlas. When asked how to spell his name, Deszu Djizlas replied, "I don't think so. Try it with a 'D'.". A well-done effort to bring out a typical fun John Candy film. It was worth my time.

Summary: Damn good film!
Review: I have seen this movie over twenty times and i just want to say I love it. If you have or haven't seen it buy it! You wont be dissapointed. Another good film By John F. Candy is, well ya can't pick one because all his films are great, especially The Great Outdoors.

Summary: Best John Candy film seen yet.
Review: I haven't seen every John Candy film, but of the several good films I have seen, this one is still my favorite. His portrayal of a bumbling detective is better than Peter Sellers' Clouseau.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great movie for the collection
Review: I was about seven or eight years old when I first saw This movie, but it was instantly my favorite. The only thing is that it's most physical comedy. Now that I'm older I realize that it's not his best movie, but it's still a great comedy classic.

Summary: Not one of Candy's best, but not bad either
Review: In "Who's Harry Crumb?" John Candy stars as a clueless detective who's searching for a woman who has reportedly been kidnapped. However, everybody soon notices that Mr. Crumb acts like a complete idiot and doesn't seem to know anything about what he's supposed to be doing. It seems for sure that there's no possible way that Mr. Crumb will be able to find the woman that he's looking for.

"Who's Harry Crumb?" is hilarious at times, but it's not one of John Candy's best movies. It's no "Great Outdoors" or "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles," but it's still funny. I recommend anybody who likes comedy movies and especially John Candy comedies to get "Who's Harry Crumb?"

Summary: One of the greatest John Candy movies ever!
Review: John Candy at his best. Different disguises, the innocent stupidity that only John Candy could do. I have seen this movie over twenty times, and it is still just as funny as the first time. Definitly one of the greatest.

Summary: Cool movie, but NO spanish audio
Review: John Candy is great in this movie. But I wanted this DVD because of the spanish audio track - like it stays written on backside of the cover. But on the DVD there is NO SPANISH AUDIO. How comes that. And this is the second time that this happens to me with a DVD. I am really angry with Columbia Tristar!

Summary: The Master of Disguise
Review: John Candy pulls out all the stops in this action packed spoof of private detective thrillers. His antics will cause you to spit out your beer and roll on the floor in uncontrollable laughter. A great companion to the the other classic Candy flicks; "The Great Outdoors", "Only the Lonely", "Trains, Planes, and Automobiles", and "Uncle Buck". Any of the above are clearly superior to the films that came out near to or after his death.
