Summary: cool system- and clutter free
Review: Awesome little system with big sound. Very affordable compared to some other Big name, big price systems out there. This one is every bit as good, and about 1/4 of the price. Not sure how they do it, but glad they do. I got a great demonstration in one of their stores. Blew my socks off. Good clarity and surround sound features, easy to use, very easy to set up, and will work great for a normal sized living room or den.

Summary: lots of problems
Review: bought this 3 months ago. main unit burned out. base cube has lots of "connection problems". However, when it was working it sounded great. It was very stubborn to play certain dvd's.(took a long time to load many dvd's and cd'd. i am returning it tomorrow.

Summary: Awesome!
Review: Bought this system at Fry's Electronics, one day sale after Chirstmas and threw a New Year party with bunch of friends.
They were so impressed with the sound and picture and thought I paid 2 grands for this system. Say goodbye to Sony, Bose and Yamaha for price/performance comparison.

Summary: DVD player skips all the time
Review: Bought this system based upon the reviews. Bad decision. The system played cd's fine, and the sound was great, but the dvd player skipped all the time. Granted some of the dvd's we tried were a bit old/scratched, but they played ok on a $50.00 dvd player so you would expect them to be ok on one that costs 10X as much.

Summary: Saw this in the Today Show this morning - and agree 100%
Review: I just bought this system last week, and set it up this weekend. It rocks. Very cool look, awesome sound, and VERY easy set-up. Watching my favorite a.m. show- the Today Show this morning, and they reviewed a bunch of holiday gifts. Their tech. guy said that this was "Product of the Year". Biggest bang for the buck - and even sounds better than systems costing $10,000. Well, I've never compared it, but that's pretty impressive in my book.
You will love this system!

Summary: Remarkable sound and picture
Review: I replaced a $[money] Marantz receiver, a $[money] Sony DVD player and my 10-year-old Cambridge speaker system with Megatheater. I like the sound of the system better, especially the bass from the little, tiny subwoofer. And the picture quality is noticably better than the Sony DVD player. Plus my wife loves how the system takes up no room. The speakers are so tiny you don't even notice them.

Summary: Stay away if you can
Review: I'm on my fourth head unit, and this one only works intermittently. DVDs don't play, sound cuts out, on and on. Also, worst remote EVER. What's tragic is that while the head unit is clearly a piece of junk, the speakers are all great, and it sounds fantastic when it works.

Now Cambridge isn't selling these any more. No surprise.

Summary: Impressive with lots of power
Review: The guys at Cambridge have done it again. this system is worth every dime. Like the features a lot, and don't need to give my family a tutorial on how to work it. With my old system, it took effort to play a DVD, and whenever I came back to it after someone used it, it was all messed up from people trying to press buttons to make it work.

I am also buying one of these for my inlaws who wanted a DVD player. But with this, you get it all. DVD, CD, and they can listen to NPR. One box, one remote, 5 easy to set up good sounding speakers. What took electronics companies so long to realize that people have lives, and every is not an engineer, and they don't want to be? Glad that day is here.

Summary: Sellling my old rack system- for this home theater in a box.
Review: With sound performance this good, why would anyone buy a traditional rack system (separate components)? This one piece does it all, plays my DVDs, CDs, and has a tuner for radio.
It took me 15 minutes to set it up and get it working, and the sound was really true. Who has an entire weekend to spend figuring out a new system? I have a friend who bought a cheapie home theater in a box, and he is really jealous now. Mine sounds 10x better than his, and has serious power. his is more like a big boom box.
I have this one in my living room, and I really do not miss my old bigger, 10 piece system, and neither does my girlfriend. I am thinking about getting another one for my bedroom, and one for my father who is just ready to get a DVD player, and was thinking of upgrading his old receiver. I think he'll really like this one, and it is a dream to set up. Only drawback is that it's a one disk loader, so can't shuffle. But I guess you can't have it all at this price?:)
