Summary: The Coolest!
Review: I'm a bikini, beach type girl and have got to speak on behalf of all my fellow bikini, beach type girls when i say this movie is awesome. This movie actually helped give me the courage to do a lot of things like get my belly pierced and a tattoo also. This film just tells you to be yourself and when i first saw it a couple of years ago, it told me to just do my own thing. Since then, i have gotten more boyfriends, wore tight skirts and wore shirts waaay past my belly button! Because that's just me and dammit, i'm proud of who i am. i now own this movie and in part of this picture, and also in part of some exotic dancing at places, i got the idea of who i was. i'm a hip, tall, brown eyed, blonde gal. This is one of Woody's best and i'd recomend it to any1.See if it does the same for u.

Review: Annie Hall is Woody Allen's masterpiece, a film so endearing and funny it begs to be shared. Every once in a great while a movie comes along that you can reccomend to anyone...this is most definitely one of those movies. I can't tell you how many people I've swayed from "I don't like Woody Allen" to "wow, now I see what you mean". I encourage people to lay aside their destructive criticism of Allen's personal life, and concentrate on what a wonderful world of cinema he's made for us all. Watch it again and again, I assure you...it only gets better.

Summary: "ANNIE HALL" WOODY ALLEN'S MASTERPIECE
Review: One of Woody Allen's best films. Twenty-two years after it's initial release, ANNIE HALL remains one of the best romantic comedies of all time. The plot is presented to us in a jigsaw mode, much like Orson Welle's CITIZEN KANE. First, we get the end of the story followed by the beginning, the middle, things that happened between the beginning and the middle, etc.

My favorite scene is when Alvy Singer (Woody Allen) visits Annie (Diane Keaton) for the first time at her apartment. While standing on the balcony talking to each other, their personal thoughts are shared with us via sub-titles. How many times have all of us experienced this situation?!

However, this is not just an excellent comedy but a film that makes us realize the similarities that all of us go through during love relationships and that true love is very fragile and precious.

The screenplay was written by Woody and Marshall Brickman who has collaberated several times with Mr. Allen including Manhattan (another ALLEN triumph), Manhattan Murder Mystery (reuniting ALLEN with KEATON) and SLEEPER.

There is a wonderful supporting cast. Tony Roberts is Alvy's macho best friend who prefers Los Angeles to New York and Woody tells him the only cultural advantage to living in L.A. is the ability to "make a right turn on a red light" (this is still illegal in New York City). Paul Simon plays a record producer wooing Annie away from Alvy. He tells Woody he moved to L.A. because New York has gotten "so dirty". Woody responds that he's "into garbage". Also look out for Carol Kane (one of Woody's girlfriends before Annie), Christopher Walken (Annie's psycho brother) and Jeff Goldblum.

ANNIE HALL is a wonderful film to add to your collection. Buy yourself a red light bulb and watch it with someone you love.

Summary: Neurotic Jews
Review: Annie Hall is a wonderful and hysterical representation of Allen's neurotic New York Jew self. Allen and Keaton perform best together in this film; a must see for all who desire violent laughter.

Summary: Has 1977 written all over it
Review: Although parts of Annie Hall remain tremendoulsy funny, the movie as a whole is so hopelessly dated it is downright painful to watch at times. If you REALLY want to relive the late 1970's than this is for you. Otherwise it is time to move on.

Summary: better than the mona lisa
Review: It would take much more than a 1000 words to decribe how good this movie is. It is without question, i believe the funniest comedy ever made. Nothing comes close. Nothing! In my opinion i think it's the greatest work of art in this century(i'm not kidding) I'm still in awe of the film every time i see it, which is well over 250 times. The directing is absolutely brilliant. This movie was years ahead of it's time. I hear constantly about movies such as "gone with the wind" "citizen kane" and other classics, being heralded as the greatest movies ever. Annie hall not only belongs in that category, i think it was the greatest film ever made. It's so creative, it's frightening. Not ever having the opportunity, or the desire to see this is the equivalent of someone not wanting to see moses part the red sea. Rent it, buy it, do what ever you have to do to see this.

Review: Annie Hall is a wonderful story by the master himself Woody Allen. It teaches us that love is a necessity which we cannot live without, even though it can cause us alot of pain and bills for therapy.

Summary: The best romantic comedy ever made.
Review: The best of the Allen/Keaton films (and that's saying a lot) has everything you can ask for in film. It is not only interestingly constructed, filmed and written, it is one of the funniest, smartest and realist films ever made. This is the pinnacle of Allen's best period and a must have for anybody for enjoys a movie.
