Summary: About Love
Review: I just liked this movie. It is simple, sweet, and real. I can understand the characters completely. Rob Lowe's character cannot commit out of fear that the choice he made may not be the right one. So he tries, sulks, apologizes, whines, screws up, and then tries to undo the damage. This is a movie about love, commitment, and fear. Some people fear to be trapped in a situation they do not like to be in, others fear loneliness, and yet others (and these may be a majority) fear both. The story is good, the cast is good, and everything else falls into place. What more do you need?

Summary: Cute, more mature brat-packer film...
Review: I love this movie, too. I have been watching it for years. I finally got it on DVD. It was actually one of the first movies I bought on DVD. It's a classic piece of 80's history with some great lines and feel-good music. My favorite song is "If Everybody Had a Heart". Still gives me chills and I must have seen this movie over 400 times. Those were good times...great movie. ::thumbs up:: Plus, it's like, the first "sexy" movie I think I ever saw...:-p

Summary: Sexy and Truthfull
Review: I saw this movie for the first time when I was thirteen and I was embarrassed by the sexual content(I saw it with my mother!). As an adult, I enjoy the realness of the relationship shared between Lowe and Moore. It is very telling of dating in all decades. Perkins and Belushi(my personal favorite) keep the sarcastic, and sometimes rude, bantering rolling. Don't watch this one with your kids! Adults will appreciate it but beware of the hot and heavy love scenes.

Summary: A real love movie
Review: I saw this movie more as 30 Times in the last 10 Years. And every time the same will happen. I cant'stop laughing or crying. The Actors and the Dialogs are so impressive ( In the German Version) About last Night is not a regular Love Story, but it could be a real Love.

Summary: I'm Surprised . . .
Review: I'm surprised at how many people appear to like this film. I know nothing of the David Mamet play upon which it is based, but I don't think it would matter if I did. For me, this movie was a good portrayal of people I'd rather never know. Rob Lowe's character is someone who seems like a nice guy, but can commit to a friend but not to a lover. He tries to push himself toward commitment by going to extremes with sexual involvement, but that's a formula that's sure to fail and he doesn't seem able to see that. For me, this movie looked like an excuse to put attractive, young, popular actors and actresses in a very racy story to try to get a big box office take. I didn't like it much when it first came out, and I still didn't like it much when I saw it again recently. One-and-a-half thumbs down.

Summary: Corny
Review: I'm watching this film for the first time in years and its just struck me how dated it looks. All that 80's gear ! Its classic 80's brat-pack stuff and probably the best of them but it hasn't worn too well. Rob Lowe & Demi Moore have as much screen presence as an empty crisp-packet but its harmless stuff anyway. I must be getting old...

Summary: An honest look at relationships!!!
Review: If there is any movie that realisticly portrays relationships, it is this one, Rob Lowe & Demi Moore are very believable as lovers who decide to live together in the hopes that they will live a long & happy life, but the perils of living together are explored very deeply here, as with any couple there are problems, past relationships, disapproving friends, adjusting to each other's habits, it is all here & anyone who has lived with anyone will see the realism of this film, if you have not ever lived with your boyfriend or girlfriend this film will seem off balance, this is the perfect film for anyone who might be thinking of moving in with their lover or anyone who has second thoughts, highly recommended!!!!

Summary: A great gift for your ex, if you still care!
Review: If you invite a date over for a movie, About Last Night is a great choice. Rob Lowe & Demi Moore just gave their dedication in this movie about love and understanding, relationships and commitments. Great body chemistry of the couple. Whewww! Some hot dish that Rob & Demi. The movie stirs so many emotions which makes it entertaining, not boring. When Rob & Demi are not making love, James Belushi and Elizabeth Perkins, both good friends of the couple, fills in the gap with their sarcastic humor. Nonetheless, the movie is great for young couples to draw close with their partners. The DVD is great.
