Summary: Isn't this supposed to be a martial arts movie?
Review: When I had first seen Fatal Fury 1, I couldn't really say it was a bad anime because I had never seen anything of it's type before, but it was still pretty boring. So I gave it an average rating. When I saw Fatal Fury 2, it proved to be much better because of it's improved martial arts choreagraphy. When I had finally seen Fatal Fury:The Motion Picture, I was disappointed by the lack of true martial arts action especially after seeing a fight where all they did was connect fists, using the force of their chi, until one of them fell to defeat.I prefer to think of FF:TMP as more of an X-Men type movie than a martial arts movie because all they do, when they fight, is throw a bunch of energy blasts at each other.Despite all of the things I didn't like about this movie, I think FF:TMP did have plenty of action and a good storyline and fortunately, I do like X-Men. But since this is a martial arts movie with not much martial arts, I would definitely recommend Street Fighter II:The Animated Movie instead.

Summary: Fatal Fury finally gets it's Motion Picture
Review: When i first saw this movie I had borrowed it from a freind that lived 3000 miles away. Actually he kind of gave it to me. It was day before my first year of high school and i stayed up all night and watched it to pass time until my bus came. That was when i experianced one of the best anime (my intro to it actually) I've ever seen. This movie has great action sequences, a superb plot, and excellent character development. It stays true to the series in that Mei absolutely adores Andy (who doesn't really acknowledge their relationship it seems, or downplays it anyway). Also includes Kim Kaphown's kids (one of whom is in an snk fighter when he grows up...). The main villians are very well developed (thru flashbacks) and you really feel the pain of the main villain, so you can understand his actions (to a point). A must get for any fatal fury fan or anime fan. Also includes one of the best pieces of vocal anime music ever: Oh Angel by Trish LeDoux (I believe).

Summary: IF only Hollywood could be this good
Review: It is pretty much a solid fact that most Video Game movies tend to suck. Even in the Anime world there are some that are at best Mediocre, however despite some criticism this is truely one of the better action Anime videos available, as well as Video Game inspired.

The story is that Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, and Mai get recruited by this frightend girl Sulia to stop her Brother Lalcorn from gathering the armor of Goddamous, and ancient God back in the Days of Alexander the Great. Throughout the movie they search for clues as other Warriors get taken out in the meantime. Eventually the four of the Square off against Lalcorn and his Henchmen in an action packed finally.

This movie did what hollywood could not, capture the essence of the video game inside the movie and create an incredible story around it. To date from my personal viewing the only other Anime series to date that has done this task was Street Fighter 2V. If you are just getting into Anime, or an Action Anime fan than this is a title to check into.

Summary: They fought and never look back
Review: Fatal Fury the movie is one of a kind anime mix with a video game. Street Fighter is still the other anime that I like because bringing the favor into the character is wonderful. Terry is the calm, street fighter, Andy is stressed out because of Mai, Joe acts like a bonehead and Mai is a bit pighead sucking up to Andy to protect her. When one of the pieces of "Armor of Mars" was founded by "Laocorn" he plans to use all six pieces to become a god. Not only that his twin sister Sulia asked Terry to help her brother to be free of the cruse. Terry and his team went on to find the armor to prevent Laocorn to be controled by the armor. Fatal Fury action, drama, and some comedy to impress the fans. Special apperances by Kim Kapwhan, Duck King, Billy Kane and others from FF2. What makes also makes this movie special is the song "Oh Angel" at the credits. sounds romatic.

Summary: TRUCKLOADS OF FUN
Review: But unfortunately my fave character is not in it much, his name is Geese Howard and he is only in a few scenes. But that's a minor quibble.

The plot is about Terry Bogard falling in love with a girl named Sulia who's brother is wrecking havoc all over the world searching for a suit of armor that will make him a God. Sounds like something from an Indiana Jones movie but it works well and there's enough humor and pathos mixed in with all the mighty kicking-of-ass to keep others interested who do not like martial arts.

Of course the story could be stronger with more developments but at 95 minutes you'll be darned if you can find another animated movie or even live action that crams in so much adventure, color and light-hearted thrills into its running time.

I am a big fan of the series and of the entire Garou Densetsu/Fatal Fury franchise and I hope a sequel follows soon.

The DVD is in Dolby Surround and is letterboxed at 1.85:1.

Summary: Awsome anime
Review: When I first got this movie I had thought I was some kind of sequel to Street Fighter but I was wrong. Fatal Fury was 1 of the best I've seen. This is my second best anime next to the Street FighterII series. Kids who can't really watch a PG-13 movie or R I suggest you shouldn't watch this because there are some blood and gore scenes and a hott shower scene. I hope this was helpful. ...

Summary: Fatal Fury the Motion Picture
Review: This movie was great! I really liked FATAL FURY the MOTION PICTURE and for me personally, it was the end complete to the series (FATAL FURY, Legend of the Hungry Wolf and FATAL FURY 2). This one starts out a bit on the slow side, but once the movie kicks in a little, it's full throttle from there.

It starts out that the whole gang is getting back together to celebrate Joe Higashi's full recovery and return to the Muay Thai ring. Andy and Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui are all back together again and this time they find out that the legend of a mystical armor (the Armor of Mars) is true and that if all 6 pieces of the armor were to come together, they wearer would be invincible. By accident, they find a young girl named Sulia amd she's being hunted down by some very strange enemies. The gang then finds out that the people chasing her are working for her brother, Laucorn. He needs his sister to help him find the final 3 pieces of the armor and become a God. It's up to Joe, Terry, Andy and Mai to stop him and protect Sulia at all costs.

The animation in this is great, the action is a vast step up from FATAL FURY 2 and the story is also great. And for all you scurvy pervies out there, there is a shower scene with Mai Shiranui. I'd check this one out. Out of the 3 FATAL FURY series videos, this one is my favorite. Check it out, you'll definitely enjoy this one!

Summary: So great its undescribable
Review: I caught this on the sci-fi channel a while back, and I got a nice surprise with this movie. It started off slow kind of, but it evolved into one of the best animes I've ever seen, and considering all the other mediocre anime titles inspired from video games (Street Fighter, Tekken, Toshinden), you will absolutely love this. I've never been a fan of SNK video games honestly, but I really liked this, so this proves you don't need to be a fan of the Fatal Fury, King of Fighters, or any of the other SNK games to enjoy this. This is one of the best fast action animes I've ever seen, and this is strongly recommended to any anime fan, if you were disappointed with Street Fighter and Tekken, you'll dig this, guaranteed.

Summary: Fatal Fury
Review: I'm a fan of the original games. This movie made me an even greater fan at that. To see this movie, however, you have to be schooled in the fatal fury universe, and have seen atleast the second tape of the three....the one with krauser.

Things wouldnt be the same in this for someone who hasnt seen the previous tape, like who kim is....the tae kwon do master whom is there to fight terry, but ends up beating a guy who almost kills him infront of his wife and children. Kim is my favorite character since i saw this movie....but i'm biased because I study the same fighting style as he does.

Bottom line, this is a fighter's movie.
