Summary: "Pure Nielsen fun...do not trust the others"
Review: 2001 - A Space Travesty is as funny as any Nielsen comedy. Take it and do not trust what the others say. Sure, it is not as funny as the Naked Gun, but it is still very hilarious. Parodies of hundreds of films and other dumb stuff. Very enjoyable. Go rent it. Don't see it on Comedy Central.

Summary: Come on! This is the funniest flick I've seen in a while!
Review: At first glance of the title I thought, "Hmmm...sounds like Mel Brooks putting his spin on the adventures of Dave Bowman and Frank Poole and their climatic battle with HAL." But no, it's Leslie Nielsen in yet another utterly stupid and irreverent but delightfully funny flick. (Does he do any other kind?)

I thought this was going to be another Frank Drebin movie without the Naked Gun title, until the kidnapping of the President by aliens. Hey, who wouldn't laugh at the sight of Carreras, Domingo, and Pavarotti, the original Three Tenors, performing "In the Navy" by the Village People (and really getting the audience into it) on a completely uncontrollable stage platform due to a bunch of knuckleheads fighting the in the control room? Or two identical-looking sax-playing Presidents "jamming" on that same stage?

And lest I forget, the remaining minutes after the final credits (which are littered with fun stuff to try and get you to sit through them) are a collage of what are known as "fart outtakes", which are not for the faint of heart.

Summary: 2001- A space disaster
Review: Don't waste your time or money on this bomb. Another Leslie Nielson movie in a series of steadily declining quality.

Stupid jokes- and as the rating warns- "Crude sexual humor". Well, the "humor" part is questionable.

Summary: The horror... the horror...
Review: I agree with many reviewers who think that Leslie Nielsen has made some poor choices in his films of the recent years. However, if you stick with this movie, you will find that the last portion of the movie (at the big concert in Paris) is inspired lunacy. The Three Tenors doing "In the Navy?" It's so uplifting and outrageous, one wants to applaud the performance. The lookalikes from the Clintons to the Pope to Prince are also very funny in their absurdity. The dueling presidents' sax battle; the up and down platforms all bring to mind some of our zaniest slapstick films. The segment on the moon is forced and manages only a few real laughs, but once you get back to earth and the extended climax, you're in for some real good laughs!
It's not THE NAKED GUN or AIRPLANE, but it's hilarious at times!!!

Summary: A Travesty Indeed
Review: I can without any qualms say that this is the worst movie I have ever seen. With the exception of the very last scene and the end credits I did not laugh. I think the most entertaining thing about the movie is the cover. If I could give a rating of ZERO STARS I would.

Summary: God Awful
Review: I don't know where to begin...The whole movie revolves around stupid sex jokes. Nielson, in my mind, was famous for his fumbling. In this movie the only fumbling is an unfunny act with superglue and a toupee. Then, you find out that the president is Bill Clinton! The climax is an alien farting around the theater and someone (I forgot) shooting her. The whole thing is a really bad attempt at a mainstream movie.

Summary: All time low...
Review: I had always thought I would never in my lifetime see a worse movie made than Batman and Robin, well this movie proved me wrong. It took a special kind of ... to surpass Batman and Robin but Mr. Neilson managed to pull it off. Leslie Nielsen has hit new all time lows and he has nobody to blame but himself for this ... fest. Next time anyone from this movie has any sort of clearance to make another movie please, please just take the alotted funds and donate them to charity. Thank You!
