Summary: Surprised and thrilled
Review: I'm not a big fan of the Disney Channel. In fact, I feel that Disney in general has been slowly degrading in the last few years. I happened across *Wish Upon A Star* on TV by chance and I thought it looked as cheesy as anything...but it turned out to be a beautiful movie. The story was universal. Who *hasn't* wished they were someone else? Especially their sibling, who seems to have everything they lack? And of course the magic of Disney can make it happen...sounds kind of dumb; but it was great. The acting was really good, especially Harris and Heigl; it was totally believable. The other more minor characters were typically Disney cute, yet that not only offset the sisters' profound characterizations, but lent the movie a lovable touch. I don't mean that the sisters were shockingly original or even that their characters are very deep and realistic. "Brainy plain Jane" and "boy-crazy fashion plate"? Where have we heard that before? However, the actors themselves were wonderful, and they really made the sister relationship come alive. They were sisters, and it was real and it was beautiful. As ever, the modern Disney personality - cute wacky craziness, healthy, hearty, but often insecure people - asserts itself. But because you like the characters, it's totally okay. In fact it actually is funny and interesting and riveting because there's substance behind it. Hailey and Alexis' wacky exploits by which they try to outdo each other, ruin each others' image, are hilarious. It's true that this movie was stereotypical to the extreme --- a good-looking basketball star going out with the homecoming queen shoo-in, a shy, dorky best friend, three snobby followers of the most popular girl in school, even the severe, uptight school principal who's secretly a real person (as outgoing as any Disney character). Yet this movie really worked. *Wish Upon A Star* made me laugh and snicker, and conversely, smile and get teary. Strangely, it was stereotypical, yet lacked all pretense.

Summary: One of my fav's!!!!(Just for the record I'm 17yrs!!!)
Review: Oh I DO *Love* this movie!!! Its soooo hilarious!!! I DON'T CARE IF its *little* or maybe...Quite a BIT stereotypical....Its *STILL* AWESOME!!! Its the ONLY Disney Channel movie I've ever seen that's rated PG....hehe But anyways I'm sure EVERYONE ELSE has given away the plot well ENOUGH!!!! But its VEEEERRRRY well-acted, the story may be non-original, but its filled with ENOUGH sentiment, conviction, great acting, and hilarity to be a movie well-worth watching!!! So check it out!!!!

Summary: I'm Going To Wish Upon A Star!
Review: This movie is soo good!!! I have loved Danielle since like her role in Halloween 4 and 5 as the adorable Jamie Llyod. She teams up with Katherine Heigli to make a movie great!!! At least that's what I think. People have different thoughts about certain things. Anyway, I caught this on the Disney Channel and I fell in love with it. Looking for it everywhere, I couldn't find it and I was sad. (...) I just HAD to have it and I got it. This would make a great gift for sisters to watch and to just "Wish Upon A Star!"

Summary: It was such a great movie
Review: When I 1st saw "Wish Upon a Star" I fell in love with the movie! I don't own it but everytime it's on the Disney channel I must stop and watch it! And that's what i'm doing right now! It's so great and the girls remind me of me and my sister me being the plain jane brainy one and her being the princess! I'd love to switch places with her for a day but i'm doubting that will ever happen! But I do have one question.... I really would like to know who the band is that sings at the dance? They were amazing! So if anyone could help or e-mail me that would be great!

Summary: A great movie for teenagers
Review: As a devote basher of no-brainer "teeny movies" I was ready to watch Wish Upon a Star to give it a bad review. Instead, I was totally surprised. The acting is good and there is actually a plot to follow. The script actually sounds realistic and the film addresses real issues that teens face, without becoming a sappy mess. One of the leading actresses in the movie is Kathreine Heigl, so I should have known this would be a pretty good movie. When two sisters actually switch bodies, they end up having to adapt to one anothers lifestyle. Unfortunatly for each of them, that's harder than they expected. Lots of fun to watch.

Summary: katherine heigl
Review: The movie itself is very similar to the 80's movie vice versa. However, the before mentioned move lacked Katherine Heigl. She is perhaps the most beautiful young actress ofd her time. It boggles my mind that she is not in more movies. Heigl is smoking hot!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: beutiful movie
Review: I was not a big fan of Disney Channel, I was more into Cartoon network, because you know I was in the 7th grade. During that same year in a party, there was a kids room for us to watch movies and all that, and they turn it on the Disney Channel and Wish Upon A Star was on, at first I thought it was another stupid "oh he loves me, or not" kind of movie. I saw Katherine Heigl for the first time and I fell in love. So I kept watching the movie just to see Heigl, but the actress was not the only thing that kept me watching this movie, the story of this movie, was so cool. And I had only started to watch this movie half way through, so the next day when I was at home the movie came on again, and I watch it from the beginning and it's a very cool movie. With every day teen issues, and ways to see how others live. It made me think what my life would have been if I had to spend at least one day on my sister's body. Its so scary! I mean you never know what they would do in your body. it's a very good movie, with great acting, beautiful story, good sets, and all of the above that makes this movie a good movie. I wonder why it didn't hit the big screen, this is a movie that should have been in the big screen.

Summary: Wish Upon A Star- Good?
Review: I have to admit that this wasnt a half bad movie. It would rank for ages 9-13 probably. I think the story was pretty good. Sort of like a Freaky Friday except this time sisters are trading roles. It had a very talented actress in the film Kathreine Heigl. So I recomend you see the film yourself to make your own opinion.
