Summary: Excellent adaptation
Review: Well, this is more better and entertaining than the more lightweight (and to mention more cheesier) TV series it's adapted from. The Rangers take off nicely in their first silver-screen debut and the villains are *very* funny, in any way possible. (It seems like they're the main part of the movie, but they're not.)

The costuming is brilliantly designed and the fight sequences are indefinitely better than the spandex-clad Rangers (really fancy armor). The scenery is good, the plot is predictable, but it's nevertheless entertaining.

To all of you people who list "MMPR: The Movie" as one of the most horrible movies ever made, you are terribly mistaken. If you want to see a bad movie, try "See Spot Run." THIS is better and a good way to kill time, also.

Rated PG for nonstop fantasy action violence.

Review: When I was little I always used to watch Power Rangers. The ones with Jason,Zack,Billy,Trini,Tommy, and Kimberley. It was my favorite show. I loved the movie. Then now in the morning that on Fox Family they have the best of Power Rangers. I decided I better rent the movie for old time sake. It may be cheesy but that what i grew up watching. When they came out with Power Rangers turbo I started to watch it but lost interest cause it just isn't the same as it use to be.

Summary: *Shakes Head*
Review: When this movie came out when I was a kid, I doubled over with excitement because it was state of the art and just downright awesome. Recently, I watched it again, except now I'm grown, and I couldn't help but laugh at the cheesiness of the movie. The reason I give it four stars is because overall, I remembered what it was like to be a kid again, imagining the possibility of these things and how cool the Power Rangers really were in their day. I would recommend it for nostalgic reasons; not for entertainment because it is over 10 years old and is, officially, cheesy.

Summary: Frogs and cranes and bears, oh my!
Review: Woo-hoo! This movie rocks, with no skimping on the stunts. (I heard that about seven-eighths of the stunts were done by Steven Cardenas, Amy Jo Johnson, Jason David Frank, Johnny Yong/Jay Bosch, David Yost and Karan Ashley themselves!) It opens with the Power Rangers (Rocky-Red, Kimberly-Pink, Tommy-White, Adam-Black, Billy-Blue and Aisha-Yellow) skydiving to keep an observatory going under. One of the next shots is of the six rollerblading around, going backwards down stairs, flipping in the air etc. Anyway, the plot. Ivan Ooze, a 'morphilogical being who ruled the world with a reign of unparallel terror' six thousand years ago has escaped and it's up to the Rangers to stop him, powerless and without Zordon to advise them. To save him and Earth they travel to Phaedos and find the Master Warrior Dulcea. The next you'll only find out if you rent or buy the movie! But, I'll give you a clue: think animals (like frogs, wolves, cranes, apes, bears, falcons and owls [partly]) to save the day, as well as a twelve/thirteen year old kid, plus of course, the Rangers. All this and more comes your way in Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers - The Movie!

Summary: Da Power of Teamwork Overcomes All or somethin'!
Review: Yo man, dis iz like a really good movie. It has a Van Halen song in it, Van Halen is cool, this is not the Van Halen with David Lee Roth, no, this is Sammy Hagar Van Halen and it rox the house. Silly me, back to da movie. I think tha actin' is like funkalicious. The Kimberly girl really knows how to fake...I mean act. She makes me all jiggly n' stuff. I like da part where the tolken black girl kicks one of those oozies in the hed, that is like really cool. I think dis movie should be a welcome addition to your home video collection. And buy da soundtrack too, cuz like I says, Sammy Hagar good, David Lee Roth bad!
