Summary: Finally! Thank you Universal for this treat! Keep em coming!
Review: Finally, the BEST animated Marvel series ever makes it's way to DVD. Agreed, I would like to see the episodes released in the order they aired, but hey! this is a start! The disc itself contains five episodes, which is a pretty good bang for the buck, and although the menus are pretty basic, the transfers are as close to PERFECTION as you're ever going to get. The sound hasn't been touched (it's in the original stereo) but it doesn't need to be! I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this disc! For X-Men fans old and new, do not miss this and any other XMen Animated Series releases from Universal.

Summary: Wolverines true love
Review: I just can't get enough animated X-men. That being said, let's focus on the DVD at hand. Fox has once again given us five episodes (it's much easier to drop twenty dollars when you get more than two or three installments). Although the features (Reunion Parst 1 & 2, Out of the Past Parts 1 & 2, and No Mutant is an Island) are represented out of sequence, they still do a fine job of framing the Pheonix Saga DVD (with the Out of the Past storyline foreshadowing contact with an alien race and No Mutant is an Island taking place just after Jean Grey's apparent death at the end of the Pheonix storyline). My only complaint is with the Reunion storyline. It is quite out of place without the surronding story arc (which covered several more episodes and could have easily comprised it's own DVD), the result of which is a weaker than necessary effect on the viewer. This withstanding, this is a fine edition to anyones X-men library.

Summary: Awesome.
Review: I think it's really great how the original X-Men Animated Series is making its way onto DVD. This disc includes a bundle of high-quality episodes and is definitely worth the cash. If sales go well, hopefully more episodes will be released as well. :-)

Summary: UnXciting X-Men
Review: This DVD probably deserves a better rating than I'm actually giving it. It's just that the episodes are out of order with the tv series which is quite frustrating, and the episodes just aren't the best selection. Neither of the 2 part stories needed to be a 2 part story and they seemed to be stretched out. However, at least one of the episodes looks to the future and The Phoenix Saga. In fact, this DVD has episodes before The Phoenix Saga and one after The Phoenix Saga. Here's my recommendation: Go get The Phoenix Saga!

Summary: Good classic cartoon
Review: Universal Studios make it true.

5 episodes of the Xmen with great audio and picture quality.

Basic menus ,subtitles are the only thing required.

The only con are the covers which shown the X-men villains instead of the X-men.

They are worthy so I WANT MORE EPISODES!!!!!.
