Summary: my first
Review: AH! Finally I will get to have this gem of a movie. The first time I saw this movie I was 14 and I had managed to sneak this into my parents' tapes at Blockbuster. It was really terribly cheesy and poorly dubbed, but I didn't care. I had my first ... ehem ... "adult experience" with this movie.

Summary: Butchered Version of the Film
Review: Don't waste your time or money buying this DVD. The makers of the DVD (Seduction Cinema) cut out many portions of the original film. To give you an example, the DVD dust jacket says that it is 77 minutes long-- however, when I played the DVD, it was only 73 minutes. It is unclear to me why the company cut out these four minutes, but they were the best four minutes of the entire movie. I remember watching this film on Cinemax years ago and I can remember several of the portions that Cinemax broadcast but Seduction Cinema chose to delete. If this DVD contained the complete and uncut film, I would highly recommend it as a great example of early 1970's German films-- however, due to the extensive cuts on the DVD my advice is to not buy it. It's unfortunate that the definitive version of this film has yet to be released. I haven't viewed any of Seduction Cinema's other retro films, but based upon my experience with this title, I won't waste my time or money on them. Buyer beware!

Summary: 2069: A Sexy Odyssey (1974) d: Keil, George
Review: Filmed in West Germany and directed by George Keil, 2069, has hot space babes from the women only planet of Venus coming to Earth to look for enough sperm to populate their planet for ten thousand years. The mission: ...Study the male species to determine how it aids in reproduction, appropriate the necessary substance, and bring their 'finding' back to Venus... Wearing skintight silver uniforms, the curious space girls are mistaken for a French ski team training for the up-coming Olympics. They are understandably, quickly accepted by the local male population of a small mountain town. The aliens find themselves in one erotic comedy situation after another. They must quickly decide if they want to return to Venus, or stay here on Earth. Produced directly for the sexually open, and alternative exploring late-night drive-in crowd. Upon its release considerable word-of-mouth reputation and a fan following made the film a cult following. More a light-hearted comedy, than a erotic sex film, ...still the film is so full of whoopee, hanky panky it's worth while for its camp appeal alone. As an added bonus the makers have included the never-before-seen Misty Mundae [Mummy Raider (2002)] featurette: The Seduction of Cyber Jayne (2001), which has Cyber Jayne a University Student who accidentally stumbles upon Misty Mundae's sexy new website. Talk about shameless self promotion ...Jayne gets more of an education than she bargained for while peeking through Misty's Bedroom Cyber Cam...

Summary: EDITED, NOT WORTH IT
Review: I remember seeing this movie as a young man. At the time I thought it was the greatest movie I had ever seen (late night cinemax, I was thirteen). Just plain erotic and funny with the mix of attractive women in very explict situations and cheap and comical effects and storyline. I had typed this title in every couple of weeks for a long time now waiting to see if it would ever show up on amazon with the onslaught of DVD's. I have a nostalgic attraction to this dumb movie for some reason. So I was very happy to see it and ordered it instantly, only to be extremely disappointed in what showed up in the mail. It was the same movie, not a doubt, YEAH, then the scene with the space girl in the barn/hay came up and only lasted two seconds! I remeber some close to "adult" film action going on, every position, funny comments, extreme by some standards. In this version it was all removed, in fact the whole movies sexy edge and erotic elemets are all but removed. I guess it made me realize that without the over the top nudity, this movie really is[bad]. Perversion is the name of the game with movies like this, it is the only reason that YOU would even be looking at the title, so don't think less of me for pointing out that this movie has been cut of everything that a [person] needs. Save your money for something better. If you buy this for the cheesy skin flick that it appears to be, you will be disappointed in the crappy, skinless, boring dvd you will be stuck with.

Summary: Funny soft-porn B movie
Review: When I originally saw this movie back in 1976 it was actually rated X by the local movie theater. By today's standards it would receive an R rating I think. The title has nothing to do with the plot by the way. It is not even remotely based upon 2001: a space Odyssey but rather the classic women from Venus looking for men scenario.

In this movie female aliens are looking for the supply of male "seeds" that will last 10,000 years and of course they have no idea how to get it. This is quite a tall order when only 5 girls are sent to collect the "goodies" as they put it. The small town in which the aliens land (maybe in the Alps) mistakes the aliens for a French ski team that is supposed to be secretly practicing in the area. When the town's mayor along with the other men in the village learn about the women they make it their goal to get to know the girls personally and as soon as possible. Of course it is up to the town's men-folk to demonstrate and explain the details of sex to them. Now don't think you are going to see a lot here because most of the shots are above the waist. The film actually has more humor about sex then sex.

One funny part is when the mayor's wife discovers her maid (Katie) is riding Carl (Katie's boyfriend) in the barn. The mayor's wife quickly introduces Carl to "pitch fork ass". In another scene for men are taken to the spaceship where they are attached to a cattle milking machine in an attempt to get that 10,000 years supply of "seeds". That kind of humor, a mix of slapstick and one-liners continues throughout the movie. Deftly in some places the humor gets lost in the English translation from whatever language it was originally filmed in.

Eventually all the guys that have been chasing and having sex with the aliens end up at a party and a cowboy style flight breaks out when the aliens decide to disrobe in front of everybody.

This is definitely a low-budget goofy and silly B-movie but is definitely funny enough to add to your collection.
