Summary: this video is terrible
Review: DON'T BUY THIS VIDEO!! I just bought this dvd at Border's over the weekend for 9.99. It is not worth 2 cents. See the nice peaceful girl on the cover? The instructor in the video is a devilish looking man with a red "goatee" who looks like creepy Tom Green from MTV. He never uses yoga terms, he uses postures that are not for stress relief, and he could possibly be damaging to a person's body. And the woman with him seems to be lobotomized. This dvd is awful and I am returning it very soon. Please don't order it--you will be SORRY!

Summary: Not for evenings, but OK
Review: I agree with the other review, that the first workout isn't good for evenings. It had chair pose & warrier, and I was expecting more to stretch out my back, neck, & shoulders with the name "Evening Stress Release" so I was dissapointed. If it had a different title, I wouldn't have had expectations. I liked the second workout, and found it relaxing. That one started out on the floor and included some good side stretches, too.

Overall that this tape could have been a lot better if it was geared towards stretching out tight areas, but instead they picked a couple TV shows that really didn't fit with the title of the video. If you are looking for two short yoga workouts, it isn't a bad tape.

Summary: A good beginning relaxing Yoga workout
Review: I bought Crunch's Perfect Yoga DVD to experiment with a different workout, and was HOOKED! I purchased Yoga Zone's Evening Stress Release in a fit of wanting to have all the yoga videos and I have to say, I prefered Crunch's. But this is a good beginning workout and it does have different moves than Crunch. I need variety or I will quit doing the workout (it's really not a workout, though)! There are two segments that are supposedly 20 minutes each. But I fast forward through the visualization relaxation technique at the end of the first section and continue moving with the second session, so this is only a half hour of actual Yoga. I think it is good for flexibility and relaxation in a decent amount of time. I like to do this workout right before massaging my feet with lavender peppermint cream, then reading for a half an hour before bed. The perfect hour relaxer! I'm asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow!

Summary: friendly, real instructor, relaxing workout
Review: I checked out the video version from the library and love it so much that I am buying the DVD. I have tried other yoga zone tapes and DVD's and found the female instructor to be imperious and her voice was like a school teacher whining at me. I also have used Kathy Smith yoga videos, but found she moves from pose to pose a little too quickly for my taste. This instructor is funny, relaxed, and I love his advice to, "relax into the stress." He uses other phrases to get across the true point of yoga, which is to help me relax during real life stressful situations and not just during my yoga sessions. I like the poses, they are not too difficult, and it is overall very relaxing. There are two approximately 25(?)minute sessions, so there is variety and I don't have to spend a lot of time. The setting is nice, the instructor pleasant, and I just highly recommend this video.

Summary: I don't care what anyone says, I like this!
Review: I didn't think the instructor was creepy. He is a little goofy, but it makes you feel more comfortable because he's not perfect. He's like your weird uncle. And, he's only on the first one. The second 20-min sequence is taught by a woman, so you can just do that one if he really bothers you.

The yoga is good. It's a nice energizing/relaxing stretch, depending upon how you focus yourself. I like the setting, they are outside in a peaceful glen in Jamaica. The second one is on the beach. It's great to pop in when you are having a dreary day and wish you were somewhere else.

So, give it a try. It's a good price, and I bet you'll like it.

Summary: NICE WORK OUT
Review: I have done yoga before, but never beyond starter level. This is a nice workout for beginning yoga, but the instructor needs to stop talking about stress, and just cue the moves.
I liked the pose sections, they flow nicely and I am getting stronger in the standing poses. Twenty minutes passes quite quickly and I just put music on so i can ignore the instructor and his oddities.
love the park setting!

Summary: Not what I thought it would be
Review: I loved the first Yoga Zone series and have even taped the televison show. I bought this based on the title (sounded relaxing) and because I thought it would be nice to have some shorter tapes. I didn't find this tape to be very relaxing like the first series. It's just and episode of the televison series, but not at all what the title implied. I won't be buying anymore of this series, I can tape them off of TV for free. I hope when they release a new series it's more like the first one, but some shorter tapes would be nice when you don't have an hour to do a tape.
