Summary: I also HATED IT!!
Review: as a few others said, this dvd is exactly the same thing shown on the tv show, NOTHING SPECIAL WAS ADDED!! I remember waiting so long for the tv to air the "THEY HATED IT" episode and it was such a disappointment. I sat thru 3 hours of the entire repeated episodes just to see a few minutes of the bonus footage. It was a waste of my time and I wouldn't recommend anyone to waste they're money on this dvd. Just watch trading spaces daily, they show enough reruns that your bound to see it again for free.

Summary: Not Worth It
Review: I LOVE the show Trading Spaces. Ever since Paige Davis took over the show there is not a single episode that I haven't seen. When the Trading Spaces They Hated It aired on TV I was extremely dissapointed. I thought it would be really great and that they would show much more of the reactions of the homeowners hating it but they didnt. It is a total waste of your money if you have seen these episodes before. It is 2 episodes, each for 55 minutes they RE-BROADCAST the episode and then for the last 5 minutes give you a bonus addition where they tell you whether or not they homeowners kept it or not and what it looks like now. NO EXAGERATION this is exactly the way it is. As a HUGE fan of the show I can't believe I am saying this... Dont waste your money.

Summary: Well worth the money!
Review: I love Trading Spaces and I was very curious about this DVD. I wasn't sure if it was really worth the $$$...IT IS! It has two full-length episodes and a great "bonus" feature that shows about 5 or 6 reveals and the home-owners who hated it. It is actually hillarious! I'd recommend this to any TS fan or as a gift for someone who likes this program. It is really great!

Summary: But I liked it!
Review: I've loved the show "Trading Spaces" ever since I stumbled across an episode about a year and a half ago. I was charmed by the perky hostess and totally wowed by the exceptional designs that were realized by the homeowners. I learned which designers I preferred over the others and I regularly enjoy seeing the "reveals", or the first time the homeowner gets to see their remodeled room. Based on the title of this DVD, it's safe to say that somebody isn't as happy as I am with the results.
The DVD contains two full episodes of the show, as well as a montage of clips featuring less than satisified customers. The most infamous reveal, that of Doug's covered fireplace, is included in the montage, but the actual show is available on another DVD. Also, none of the designer Dez's work is shown, even though she did create many unhappy homeowners.
I do love the tv show, but the DVD only gets 3 stars because of the lack of really meaty extras. I want to see more about how the carpenters' build the furniture. I'd like to see the designers' sketches. I want more outtakes and bloopers. And, most of all, I want the extras to be different than the ones available on the other Trading Spaces DVDs. If you buy them all, it's all repeat stuff. Sorry.

Summary: Sweet Revenge for Husbands
Review: If you are a Trading Spaces widower, this is the DVD for you. You get to see who are the absolute worst designers, see people wretch, cry, throw their microphone off in disgust, gosh it is wonderful. Get it for your wife and re-bond your relationship together, as you watch the know-it-alls go down in flames, as you realize your home, your life is really not so bad after all. They should make this into a long running series - the most outrageous or ridiculous designer efforts. For once, my wife and I both truly enjoyed Trading Spaces episodes. I didn't even read the paper or look at my laptop. What a God send!!

Summary: Gr8!
Review: My aunt is a big fan of trading spaces. When eye bought this dvd 4 her as a gift, she got mad. She said that these 2 episodes are repeated so often, she has no need 4 the dvd. So eye took it 2 add 2 my collection of dvd's and eye watched it and decided that eye really like the show. It was halirous when the 1 woman started crying when she hated it.

Summary: More like "They had a tepid reaction!"
Review: Thank goodness we checked this out from the library. We'd never seen Trading Spaces, but I was curious to see what all the fuss was about. Surely the extremely negative reactions that the cover blurb seemed to promise would provide us with the best encapsulation of the appeal of this show, right? WRONG. Nobody bursts into tears, nobody retches and runs from the room with their hand over their mouth, nobody threatens to firebomb their neighbors' homes in retaliation, nobody clenches their fists, throws back their head and bellows "WHYYYYYYYYY?!?" to an aloof and uncaring deity. In fact, pretty much every reaction is along the lines of, "Oh. Well. Maybe I'll get used to it..." If you love the idea of watching someone else's boring tract home being redecorated in order to view the homeowners' stoic, listless demeanors upon viewing the finished product, by all means, proceed. All others, steer clear of this dud.

Summary: a little disappointing...
Review: This dvd is simply 2 TS episodes where the homeowners hated the results. It has "bonus" footage, but it's the same stuff from the first TS dvd "The Best of Trading Spaces".
Not worth the money.

Summary: I HATED IT!!!!....
Review: This is NOTHING but 2 shows where the people didn't like the results. No outtakes or things that couldn't be shown on regular tv. If your a regular viewer of the show you have seen everything on this dvd. The "bonus" footage is again nothing you haven't seen before, just reactions that where shown during the orginal airings of those shows. Surely with the radcial reactions to some of their makeovers there have been some reactions deemed not suitable for regular tv but if there where none are shown here. ... Doesn't deserve 1 star but couldn't rate it lower!
