Scotty 2 Hotty & Albert V. Test & Christian
Good opener and it went just the right amount of time. Scotty & Albert win. ***

WWF Intercontinental Championship:
Edge (Champion) V. William Regal
Regal schools Edge in this match however Edge wins with a spear that looked so stupid that it's unbelieveable...wait... is was. Edge lose the spear, it doesn't fit you. **3/4

Jeff Hardy V. Matt Hardy
This match could have been a classic but they had to show that they are good wrestlers and they don't need to do high flying stuff. The match was watchable, but very disappointing. Jeff wins. **3/4

WWF Tag Team Championship:
The Dudley Boyz (Champions) V. Kane & Big Show
This match was more entertaining than what I thought it would be. The Dudleys retain. ***1/2

WWF Hardcore Championship:
Rob Van Dam (Champion) V. Undertaker
Great match with some great moves. I agree with one reviewer that their isn't blood in this match and there should have been. Taker wins the Hardcore title. ****

WWF Women's Championship:
Trish (Champion) V. Jackie
this match was sloppy...um...wrestling wise that is. Trish retains. 1/2*

WWF Championship:
Stone Cold Steve Austin (Champion) V. Kurt Angle
God it feels good calling it the WWF Championship again. Anyway, this match wasn't as good as their Summerslam Match but alot better than their Unforgiven match. Austin retains the WWF Title (god it feels good!) ***3/4

World Championship:
The Rock (Champion) V. Chris Jericho
Why not call it the World Heavyweight Championship Vince? Oh well. Not as good as their No Mercy match. Good ending. Jericho wins the World Title. ***3/4

Undisputed Championship:
WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin V. World Champion Chris Jericho
I think the best match out of the three with Jericho shocking the world and winning the Undisputed Championship. ****

Overall, a very historic show. The three title matches were a little disappointing in my mind but they were still great.

Rating: 4 stars

Summary: A great ppv to cap off a great year of wrestling!
Review: A lot of people put this ppv down because of the unexpected ending but I thaught it was a very good show. Listed below are my reviews of the matches.

Albert & Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Christian & Test

(Not a classic but a very solid opener)

Edge vs. William Regal

(A decent match with a good ending)

Jaqueline vs. Trish

(A great effort by both divas)

Dudley Boyz vs. Big Show & Kane

(The worst match on the card. The Big Show & Kane have no chemistry at all)

RVD vs. Undertaker

(The best hardcore match I have ever seen!. Taker is as sadistic as ever and RVD is in fine form)

Kurt Angle vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin

(These two men have had many battles but this one stood out from the rest. A fantastic display by both competitors)

Chris Jericho vs. The Rock

(Another great match from the Jericho/Rock series. Shame about the ending though)

Undisputed Title Match
Chris Jericho vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin

(A superb main event with both men being pushed to their absolute limits. Booker T interfears at the end and helps Jericho get the win)

Verdict - There is not many bad points to this ppv. The Undertaker/rvd match along with the Angle/Austin match are worth buying this dvd for alone!.

Summary: Good Historical Information, Some Wrestling
Review: As far as wrestling goes, this DVD is worth it for the last four matches. It's good to own if you're a nut for wrestling history, otherwise, look elsewhere. The women's wrestling match, and the tag team title match are throwaways, and the Hardys' match was a letdown. However, RVD manages to carry the Undertaker.

The main event is interesting, even if overbooked.

Summary: oh my what a PPV
Review: I can't believe how good this PPv was. one undisputed champion. The triple main event was the best in the world. Austin vs. Angle Jericho vs. The Rock And then the final match Austin vs. Jericho. Even though Jericho won the undisputed title. It was still an outstanding PPV. And the more back you think about it the more you know how much Jericho deserved the undisputed championship.

Summary: WWF Vengence 2001
Review: I did not see this event when it originally aired so this review is not impacted by whether it did or did not live up to the hype. I purchased it as a huge fan of Jericho who wanted a copy of the show that cemented his place in the industry and was not dissapointed :D

Scotty 2 Hotty & Albert vs. Christian & Test:
Decent opener, I'm glad Albert no longer dances. 6.5/10
Edge vs William Regal-Intercontinental title
Regal and Edge never really clicked in the ring like I had hoped but again a decent match. 7/10
Jackie vs. Trish-Women's title
This may have been Jacqueline's best match ever. But its still not up to the level of the better women's matches today. Trish was not quite at the level she is now either. 6/10
Dudleys vs Kane/Big Show- Tag Team titles
Everyone seemed confused for half the match and it didn't seem like anyone cared about the tension between Kane and Show. Decent finish saved it from being a total dud. Sorta. 4/10
Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy-special ref Lita
A solid technical match but since the crowd wanted more "team extreme" style offence they were totally dead. Lita is not a good actress and it showed during the segment before the match. In retrospect the wrong guy won but still good fun. 7/10
Undertaker vs RVD- Hardcore Championship
Once more time the Undertaker proves he has not only the physical skills but is an expert in pacing a match. And RVD proved he still has that hardcore streak in him and lives up to PPV Harcore match standards with a spectacular finishing sequence and final bump. 8/10
Stone Cold vs Kurt Angle
These guys have simply great chemistry in the ring. It wasn't quite to the level of the SummerSlam match from that year but they couldn't go with as long a match given how the night was designed. The finish seemed a little bit abrupt but again that was more because they had raised the bar so high. On its own this match is still a good 8/10
Chris Jericho vs The Rock
The moment of the night came in the next match but this was the best of the 3 main event mathces. Even though the face won the first match it was still highly probable that we would see Rock vs Austin so tension was still very high. These guys tore the proverbial house down and to finally have a heel actually end a match the the other guy's finisher had me cheering in my room even though I knew who was going to win. 9.5/10
Chris Jericho vs. Stone Cold- WWE Undisputed Title match
Jericho held up really well after getting NO rest. There should have been a match between the semi finals and the finals. However, they still had a match with a good story despite the less than ideal length. The entire finishing sequence was so well done and the stunned silence of most of the crowd at the end proved everyone had done their job well. 8.5/10

Overall the show had a dissapointing undercard compared to some of the shows from that year but the better matches more than made up for it. Even if I was not such a huge Jericho fan I think I would have enjoyed this disc quite a bit.
