Summary: the REAL review for the 20th anniversary collectors edition.
Review: All the other reviews here are for the first edition which came out about 3 years ago. This is the same as that edition which was Fan-tastic and also includes a third dvd and a bonus 1988 slam dunk content. All three dvds are double sided which makes it hard to tell what's on which disc unless you look at the table of contents in the box. Other than that it is a must have for any true nba fan because it has 5 of Jordan's top games included in their entirety. I mean it even has the intro and network theme song in the beginning. Remember when the NBA was on CBS in the mid 80s? Brings back memories of the early Bulls team battling the Pistons. The quality is excellent. They must have cleaned up some of the older games from the 1980s. The five games are the 63 pt game in Boston, 69 pt game in Cleveland, finals game against the Suns, the flu game against Utah in the 1997 finals and the final 1998 finals game. These games in itself are worth the 23.99 because they are just of unbelivable quality. It was like they played those games yesturday. There is no sign of age on the telecasts like some of those re-broadcast games on Classic Sports network. So you guys can throw away all those grainy games you recorded on VHS tapes from t.v. The 1988 slam dunk contest is also in its entirety starting from the introductions of the contestants to Jordan's post-dunk interview. I just wish it had more games like "the shot pt. 1 and 2", finals game 2 against the Lakers, and more games against the Pistons and Knicks. But maybe they are saving that for the 30th anniversary edition.

Summary: Ultimate jordan
Review: First of all let me tell you that Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player and nobody will beat him, never. When you look at players like Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Tracy Mcgrady you say hmm they are good but Jordan has the heart to play, none of them has it except maybe Iverson. Jordan always wanted to win and he did. In the dvd, you have 5 programs that explain what i just said and many other things, 5 great programs. Also, you have a lot of special features like his greatest plays. Buy this, even if you don't like basketball, even if you hate basketball because Michael Jordan is out of this world, he flys, he's just the greatest. I always wanted to follow basketball, at that time, the jordan time but I did not like that but with this dvd I see what I've been missing, it's borring to watch basketball when you saw jordan play.

Summary: 1988 slam dunk content?
Review: I got this product but there was no Bonus 1988 Slam Dunk Contest DVD with it. Is there anybody who couldn't get bonus 1988 SDC dvd like me?

Summary: I want more...
Review: I recorded two Michael Jordan videos, one of 'em was "Come Fly with Me", many years ago (on a betamax!) and watched it over and over. Several years and Bull's championships later, I got this DVD and it is one of my best buys of the summer! I liked the MJ moves and plays as well as the backstage drama a lot. Watching this DVD wants you to beg for more, as I can still remember seeing some spectacular MJ moves, but did not appear on this DVD set (like when he hovers like a helicopter before laying the ball gently into the hole). I also wish they have the full versions of the Dunk contests.
His recent foray into the NBA (not a subject of the DVD), while he did contribute to the team significantly on the court, is somewhat a small tragedy for the MJ fan, as he has lost a step and the springs on his legs (and he might have been too harsh to some of his teammates). One reminisces how he used to blow by his defenders with such grace and ease.

Summary: Awesome
Review: I used to think that players of today, such as Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, and Allen Iverson could have taken on Jordan one on one, but after watching the DVD it made it very clear why people always talk about him as the best player EVER. It is a must watch if not a must own. I hope that another DVD is made about the life after his second retirement to going to the Wizards front office into playing again

Summary: Missing Jordan
Review: In the last weeks since the 2003-04 NBA season ended, the Pistons have been crowned champs, Phil has moved back to the mountains, Shaq is dipping into the Atlantic Ocean, and Kobe is still being heralded as the current Michael Jordan. All of this makes me feel only one thing. I miss watching Michael Jordan play basketball. I miss him on and off the court as an NBA fan. I wish they would stop crowning future Michael Jordans. There is only one. And this is his DVD collection. If you want to be reminded of what greatness in basketball is, get this DVD. Watch it, remember the good times, and once again love basketball.

Summary: Relive the Greatest Moments of His Airness
Review: This 20th Anniversary edition of Ultimate Jordan includes previous releases Come Fly With Me, Michael Jordan's Playground, Air Time, Above and Beyond, and His Airness: and that's just Disc 1! Tons of extras are offered on this 3 double-sided DVD collection including Jordan's greatest dunks, moves, clutch shots, and assists, a look at MJ's shoe promotions, slam dunk contest highlights, Jordan off the court, an interactive career timeline, and more. The big bonuses here are 5 complete games: (1) 1986 1st round, Game 2 playoffs versus the Boston Celtics during which Jordan scored 63 points, (2) 1990 game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers where Jordan topped his previous career high total with 69 points, (3) 1993 Finals Game 4 where Jordan dropped 55 on the Charles Barkley-led Phoenix Suns, (4) 1997 Finals Game 5 against the Utah Jazz during which Jordan suffered from the flu and still kicked [...], and (5) the 1998 Finals Game 6 versus the Jazz that was MJ's last game as a Bull. These aren't just highlights, they are the games in their entirety. The set is handsomely packaged with a booklet that includes motivational photos and quotes that would make for excellent poster material. For the astoundingly low price, this is an awesome bargain for the MJ fan.

Summary: GOTTA HAVE IT!!! FOR ANY BASKETBALL FAN!!
Review: This is an incredible bargain. I always said that if Air Time came out on DVD, I would get it, but boy did they outdo themselves!! All these pieces show why Jordan is not just the greatest baller on earth, but also why he is an incredible individual in every aspect of life. There is truth to the statement "I wanna be like Mike!". The highlights are incredible, the sound (5.1 decoding) is breath-taking, and the features are superb....This DVD set should be worth $50 easily, yet look at the deal. As an avid player also, I must say that even if you are not a Jordan fan (at least not until you see these pieces) you will greatly appreciate this set as you get to see the mental points that made Jordan the best ever. GET IT!! YOU WONT REGRET IT!!
