Summary: What a piece of junk
Review: I bought this stereo less than one month ago and the cd player has already broken. Trust me, don't waste your time or money with this thing.

Summary: Good choice for the ever-moving apartment dweller
Review: I have moved 14 times in 11 years, and I quickly learned that heavy stereo equipment is no fun to lift. This stereo had a lot of features that I like. The CD platter has slanted slots, so if you forget that you have CD's in it, and move it, the drawer won't freeze and subsequent forced entry won't destroy your CD's. It has a pre-set equalizer that allows you to pick from 5 options including a custom choice + bass boost. The sound quality is great, but the volume is limited. If you live in an apartment, your neighbors will really appreciate this purchase.

Summary: A dancer from Tha Town
Review: i wish i had read these reviews when i bought this hunk of junk in January of 2002. as i sit here typing this, i'm listening to brian mcknight out of only one speaker. when it changes cds, it sounds like a squirrel in a blender. because of the poor sound quality EVERYTHING sounds like a roger & zapp tape from '84. don't do it people, for the love of all things good and holy!

Summary: OK for the money
Review: OK for the money with lots of glitz. But but even for the unsophisticated ear, its sound quality is less than thrilling. It's sound one step up from a basic boom box. The controls are pleantiful, but not all that easy to learn to make full use of. All that said, the value for money is not that bad.

Summary: straight arrow
Review: There is a hiss to things recorded with the cassette recorder. The radio stopped working less than a month after we bought it.

Summary: child's play
Review: This system is basically for those who haven't developed a sense for quality sound or, well...quality. Speakers are low quality, system is too large for the components. Lots of flash in the design, but the system sounds like a cheap radio.

Summary: Great System, Great Price
Review: You can't beat a system like this for a hundred bucks. It is light, portable, the only drawback is that you can't blow the windows out of your house. If you like it loud, and I mean LOUD, then you better fork over another 30 bucks for a better model, but if you are looking for something affordable and easy to move, then this is the system for you.
