Panasonic SC-AK29 Compact Stereo System

Review: I am having the same experience that 603rd lgcn baps is having. I got the system a little over a month ago and I thought it was fantastic. The sound was amazing and I loved the 5 CD changer. Then about a week ago the system basically shut itself down and displayed an error message every time I tried to turn it on. It also emitted an earsplitting buzzing sound as well each time I tried to turn it on. I am returning it tomorrow. I could just get it fixed, but a system that breaks only a month after purchase is definitely not worth the hassle.

Review: I am purchasing a sound system for my wedding because I can get a good mini system for the $350 it would cost me to rent a stereo from the country club. I have not yet tangibly experienced this system but have high expectations for it based on the name brand and the features. The Panasonic SC-AK29 possesses the necessary traits without overreaching itself. The power of 100 watts per channel is sufficient, as is the 5-CD capacity. This system looks like it will perform its stated functions capably and reliably, which is all that I am looking for in a system. If I wanted more features then I would proportionally increase my budget. It does not pay to expect too much from a price range.

Review: I just purchased this stereo and I have been very impressed with its overall sound quality. Seems to be the perfect purchase for a college student who wants to be able to pump the tunes without the music becoming distorted. I have not purchased any Panasonic products in the past, but I am impressed with this product and I feel that it is going to be around for the long haul (important attribute when you have limited funds). The only criticism I have with the SC-AK29 is that you cannot change a CD while another CD is playing. Dealing with the tray system can be a hassle, but it is nice to know that the playing mechanisms are in no way exposed to an unstable dorm room environment. Overall: awesome system with a solid design.

But when I'm through listening, my mom takes over and listens to soft music while she works. The large screen offeres easy reading, and the remote is a great feature! All in all, no matter what your listening type, it is a great buy that you will enjoy for years to come.

Review: i ve had the system for ovr a month now and am still amazed by the sound and everything about it....thes bass is awsome and the sound is so crisp and clear...i love every thing about it....if you are looking for a great sounding stereo with lots of gadgets and very high quality...this is the one for you.

Review: I was looking to buy a mini-system for around $500 Australian. And the one that clearly stood out from the beginning of my search was the Panasonic. It has the highest disc-capacity, the best sound and the Super-Woofers give out a SUPERB bass sound that will simply blow you away. The multi-fuction display is large and easy to read, as well as looking great. The remote has everything there that you need to just sit back and enjoy. I'm on school holidays so what I do is wake up, hit the random button on the remote and fall asleep to my favourite music. All types of Music sound great, My Limp Bizkit and Metallica and My mothers Van Morrison all sounded superb and cripsy clear, no static at all. I would definately recommend this system to any possible buyers.
