Review: The world is divided in regions and the tape manufacturers only produce tapes for that region. A tape available from amazon.uk.co can only play on recorders of type PAL. Other world locations use SECAM. Only the US and Canada uses NTSC format. If you buy "Dead Man's Folly" from the United Kingdom, you can not play it on this VCR. Place VCR and pal in the search box and press "go!"

Review: This is a great TV set 25 inches and all. The picture is very good and the VCR section just makes it all the much better. The VCR performs very well for a TV-combination unit. It's just as good as if you patched in a separate VCR. Outstanding!
