Review: this movie started out like it was going to be a really good tarantino movie, then up and turns into something else. i'm also not a fan of the fact that cheech plays like three different characters. it's just confusing. probably wouldn't highly recommend the movie...

Review: Tarantino fans won't be disappointed. It's over-the-top, outrageous and hilarious. It's also an opportunity to see Tarantino as an actor (in addition to writing the screenplay). George Clooney and Harvey Kietel are great. Juliette Lewis is perfect. As with other Tarantino films, I was entertained from beginning to end. However, be forewarned that it's extremely violent.

Review: Having trouble finding a good vampire flick that's exciting and scary? Looking for something that doesn't abide by regular horror genera rules? "From Dusk Till Dawn" may be the one to choose. With a sizzling screenplay by Quentin Tarantino and perfectly directed by Robert Rodriguez, this is a horror/thriller to remember.

The Gecko brothers are two extremely violent criminals who end up taking a family hostage. The family is forced to drive the notorious brothers to the end of the border. They end up making a pit stop at a Mexican bar, where the brothers are supposed to meet their contact. However, things get out of hand when it turns out that the place is contaminated with vampire strippers and truckers. You add all of those elements together and you get one hell of a ride that you'll never forget.

I'm not the biggest fan of vampires, but I thought this was an EXCELLENT movie. It's unpredictable and exhilarating. You have no idea where the movie will take you until it's all said and done. This is not your ordinary vampire flick, and that's what makes this movie so great. It's a breath of fresh air and so much more.

The acting really makes the movie what it is. George Clooney gives a remarkable performance (this was before he was the big star that he is today). Quentin Tarantino does a great job of contributing dark and chaotic humor to the film with his role. Other major players include Harvey Keitel, Juliet Lewis, Cheech Marin and plenty more. The screenplay by Tarantino is great and never misses a beat. It's packed with snappy dialogue that one would not expect to hear in a horror movie. Rodriguez does an exceptional job of directing as well.

I don't have the fully loaded version of the movie, so I am stuck with the plain version for now. The picture quality looks pretty good, considering that it isn't enhanced for widescreen TVs. The sound is really lacking, though. I had to keep fumbling around with the volume controls throughout the movie, as it kept going from being quiet to extremely loud. That might be reason enough to get the Collector's Edition of the film. A theatrical trailer and teaser trailer are both included on the DVD, but those are the only extra features you'll find on this DVD version.

"From Dusk Till Dawn" is a wildly entertaining flick that really stands out from the others. It has some extremely funny moments, as well as some very scary and exciting sequences. This movie pretty much has it all. If you're looking for a horror/thriller movie that isn't like the rest, give this one a try. This is definitely one of my favorites.

Review: Rodriquez has got the juice. putting action and horror into one. so radical. This movie has a lot of bloodshed and bodyparts flying around the place. sorta like a rip off of Natural Born Killers but with vampires and this movie is better then that movie. The cast is great, including George Clooney as Seth Geiko. nice vampire transformations and the feeling of the intense horror they all had to endure.

Seth(Clooney)-" psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I dont give a **ck how crazy they are!!!"

Review: What can you say about a movie where during the screening I attended, fully one-half of the paying audience got up and walked out during the movie? It is that bad. This movie isn't funny, isn't entertaining, and frankly isn't worth the celluloid it was originally printed on. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this piece of excrement masquarading as a movie.

Review: This movie is two movies in one. First of all the charactors are developed for over half of the movie. No Vampires yet, you will still be interested. The story is centered around two criminals trying to get to Mexico and freedom. George Clooney is at his very best in every seen. Anyway the brothers kidnap a family to get over the border. The father of this family is Harvey Keitel playing a Minister who resently lost his wife to a car crash and his faith is tested. This fast paced story is kicked up a notch when they reach the point of destination. A topless bar in Mexico. What is not known is the Bar is opperated by vampires. The movie has some old actors from the seventy's making it even better. The extras on this dvd are great, a must see.

Summary: this movie has it all
Review: the first half of the movie is tarantino all the way with the dialogue an all his usual thangs then the second half is rodriguez's with the over the top action and this makes the movie so exciting and funny. good effects good actin(except for ernest liu)plus u havent heard anyhting bout this movie then u would have no idea that there was goin to b vampires in it. it would b cool if they took the vamps out and made the movie off the first half instead of makin it a horror movie.

Summary: Awful
Review: This movie has intense violence, brutality, vulgarity, and is simply awful. Tarantino is a sick man and belongs in a mental institution.
