Summary: Your ad is missleing
Review: Hey I thought that the DVD was really good. For a cartoon generally meant for kids I think that the show is very enjoyable and funny too. I bought the dvd because I missed almost the entire first season and really started to watch in season 2 so I thought that this would help me get all up to speed on how the series began. It did, but I was dissapointed to see it IS NOT THE WHOLE FIRST SEASON! Its only the first 13 episodes and does not contain some of the episodes listed in the ad on this website. It actually has these: So it begins, the birth of Greymon, Garurumon, biomon gets firepower, kabuterimons electro shocker, togemon in toy town, ikkakumons harpoon torpedo, evil shows his face, sub zero ice punch, a clue from the digi past, the dancing digimon, digibaby boom, and finally the legend of the digidestined. This dvd DOES NOT include the Episodes: Wizzardmons gift, prophecy, or battle for earth, if you want those you have t by he VHS Volume 4. I do think you should buy this dvd if you love the show or want to get familliar with how it all began. There are some cool battles however the best shows are the ones that cne after. If you mainly like te battle and action sequences of the show Id gowth the VHS Volume 4: The digidestined Child and Volume 5: The battle with piedmon. Also a warning all these tapes end in cliff hangrs that have No reolution unless you taped the shows that follow off TV. If not like m you will e kinda dissapointed that there is no tape or DVD yet that fills the gaps between Volumes. Thats the only downside.

Review: Hey...first of all to anyone who says pokemon is better than digimon....well i don't like u. when i was about 9 years old i started whatching pokemon. then a friend told me about digimon adn i was instantly hooked. Now i'm 14 and still love digimon (but only the first two seasons; 3 and 4 are nothing like the original). But i have a question. How many episodes does this tape have on it? Does it have every episode? I have been looking for one everywhere and can't find one...help!

Summary: digimon should not be compared to pokemon
Review: i am a fan of both digimon and pokemon. pokemon is not low-brow, even if it is aimed at a younger audience. pokemon is a fun, happy, moralistic cartoon that can teach people alot of things, whether you're young or old. digimon has that same basic concept, but it adds a more realistic touch in that some characters "die" and it is a bit more violent than pokemon. they both are wonderful japanimations that should not be compared with one another. this DVD is great and has a really great price. well worth the money.

Summary: Digimon ROCKS!
Review: i am a really big digimon fan. i just wish there were even more digimon dvds out there. the first season is the best so this dvd is a must have. it is great that they were able to fit 13 episodes on one dvd. usually your lucky to find more than four. no matter what you just have to see this series.

Summary: another vote from the older crowd
Review: I am also in College. I have to admit I like both pokemon and digimon. They both have cool theme music, cool collectible stuff and cool games. But I like Digimon a lot more. Digimon has characters that you can connect with. There is a Tai, Joe, Sora, Matt, Izzy, Mimi, TK, and Kari in every crowd. They need to make more Digimon DVDs like this. I would like the have the whole first and second season of digimon on DVD's BTW, Ash is a Tai, Brock is a Tai, Matt, and a Joe. Misty is a Mimi, Kari and Sora

Summary: Digimon are the Champions!
Review: I know what you think. You probably think that digimon is a cheap copy off of pokemon, right? Well it's not. There are no digiballs or anything like that. This DVD is a great start if you want to get into digimon. This has the first episodes of digimon on it. It even has digi-bloopers on it! I really recommend this DVD.

Summary: Wow, finally Digimon on DVD. My wish come true.
Review: I know what you're thinking, "Digimon, what the heck is a Digimon?" Unless you've been living in a cave for the last two years, this is the latest Japanese Anime craze that was brought to the US. At first I hated this show, due to the childish storyline, something that you'll expect to find in a children anime. However, this wasn't the case as the show progressed. It began showing more mature theme and storylines. As I began to watched the episodes, I was eventually hooked and searched high and low for the previous episodes on DVD. To my disappointment they only had it on VHS. But soon I found out that 13 episodes was coming out on DVD, I quickly put my order in and I am sooo glad that I have a copy. I've been watching the episodes over and over again, I just can't get enough. I hope they release the remaining season on DVD as well, I'll be the first to put my order in.

Summary: Bits and Pieces
Review: I like the fact that it is in dvd format. But, wonders why they split everything up into volumes(vol.1-4) on a DVD. All of the Devimon storyline is there, but that is it. No etemon, demidevimon, myotismon, or dark masters. Its not the full season. The rest is in VHS, or whatever they released. There is no such thing as a full season DVD or VHS set. All the videos are in bits and peices. Most likely, so they can get more money. But, what is on the DVD, is good.
