Summary: Brilliant
Review: season 1:
Being a Buffy the vampire slayer proves to be worth awhile. Not only is this TV show one of the best TV shows ever on TV (it is on the list as TV shows like alias, angel and the X-files); it also stars one of the best actress in a long time.
This was a little genius show kept in the shadows because of its stupid name, with a HUGE star, Sarah Michelle Gellar.
The first show was a fun and light season of the show that really was a season where they tried out what they could do with the show. In my opinion, it's not its nest season, but if you totally love this genius show, then this is worth buying.

season 2:
The second season was a season that many remembers as the best season of television that year.
Not only did the show have good music that defined the genius of the show, it also proved to be a complex show with brilliant storylines that was ever changing. The characters always changed and seemed so realistic.
This show soon proved to have one of the best writing ever. Even though, it dealt with supernatural forces. It was and is probably one of the most realistic TV shows to date.
Season 2 was the season where the relationship between Buffy Summers and the good vampire Angel, became closer.
This was a romance that would nearly end the world. The powers that be wanted angel to do good, after he was cursed and they new, the slayer could help. Angel was a champion and could be able to do a big differents. Angel who had been one of the most evil Creatures on earth as Angelus, not only would become the hero and champion they wanted, but he fell in love with Buffy, which was a big problem.

Season 3 explores the fact that each of them is meant for something bigger. And they have to leave each others lives, because it was to dangers for him to be near her because of the curse.

This romance would never end it seemed, even though they would end up, being on different roads, to keep the greater good. They would save the world, separately.

This season was the beginning of the long arc story of angel. This season shows Buffy getting angel on track but also turning him into angelus again.

Season 2 is in many ways the groundbreaking year for Buffy. It was a year that would have a big meaning later.

season 3:
This season is the season many sees as the best season and in many ways it is.
The characters Faith, showed later to be a girl who would change a whole lot.
Season 3 is in many ways the season that explores what the show is about. The fact is that, the slayer will always be alone.
I recommend season 3 in many ways, one of them being that it's really a great season.
Season 3 shows proudly that its one of the best TV shows ever.
The little show with a, HUGE star.

A must buy in every sense of the word..

season 4:
Season 4, lacked angel and Oz, which was both some of the best characters ever on the show.
Season 4 actually has some of the best episodes of the shows and Sarah Michelle Gellar is on top of her game. This is an underrated season. Many people didn't like Riley and the initiative. But I think it was some storylines that had to be explored. Btvs was always a show that took risks.
There were two great angel episodes. And also some great, oz episodes.
This is a must have season for any fan, but also for people who enjoys great writing.

This collection is a must buy for anyone.

Summary: buy the seasons separately--save money!
Review: Don't bother with the set-- you'll get the exact same thing for less money if you buy each season separately. That being said, the DVDs are definitely worth owning if you're a fan.

Summary: The pricing on this deal is very frustrating!
Review: I must admit I'm one happy camper right now because I just bought this set for $118.29 - a lovely surprise since just a few days ago this set was listed for about $180, which, when you compare to buying all the seasons seperately, actually cost more! (I question Amazon's troll-logic here O_o)

In any case, the first four seasons of Buffy really display the transition from just campy fun to what I'd like to this is the un-reality of college life - it's not the real world but it's not home either. I don't think seasons 1-3 need to be covered since they've been praised time and again, whereas opinions on season 4 have been divided.

I personally loved season 4 (despite the departure of a few principle... hotties), especially the Tim Burton-esque "Hush" and the impressive "Who are you" in which I was truly impressed by SMG's acting abilities. I also personally very much enjoyed "Restless" though I suspect that many may disagree - it's wonderfully weird, ripe with references (more than usual even), and the cheese man cracks me up everytime.

The only thing I truly didn't care for was Riley, but I think it's safe to say that he can't help being about as interesting and wooden as a lawn ornament, espeically when stacked up against the competition of Buffy's other relationships. Ah well, bully for him.

In any case, if this set at this price ($120) is still available, snatch it up! The series is well worth it - and this comes from someone who had to cough up the extra $20 in tax because she's in Washington.

Long live the Buffy-verse!

Summary: Hey, it's about time we got some fresh blood around here....
Review: Buffy's long gone and now Angel's gone too! Buffy and Angel fans unite to purchase this stunning four season DVD set. I own all the seasons--up through season 5--with season 6 already on pre-order.

I've heard all the complaints about season 4, but come on people, even when the Buff's mildy bad, it's better than most anything else out there!!! Riley, Smiley! We all make mistakes. That story arc made Buffy more realistic than ever. Who didn't date a dork in college? Really, now!

If you simply can't wait until the box set that includes the first 6 seasons, click away. This is a great deal!:)

Enjoy!!!

Summary: The question is not whether Buffy is worth buying...
Review: ...of course it is! the question is whether you should buy THIS PARTICULAR PACKAGE. add up the individual seasons and you'll see that they're not even giving you a deal here. it costs basically the same as if you were to buy the seasons separately. that's hardly worth it.

Summary: Fabulous! However, I think it deserves 4 and 1/2 stars.
Review: This series is like the original Love Boat theme song, both exciting and new. At least, when these shows aired, they presented new takes on old themes, horror, forbidden romance, teen angst, identity crisis, personality conflicts, you name it. The writers do a great service to television by pushing the envelop in terms of economy of words to get to the heart of a feeling, a moment, an idea. All four seasons here are great. My only feelings of disappointment are due to the character Riley, who should just not be a part of the show. The role was alright. But the guy who played Riley was not appropriately cast. Every time I see him I feel bad for him, the man, not the character. As the character, I kept wanting him to die already. Anyway, David Boreanaz's character leaves the story (for Angel, the show), which is a necessary albeit sad progression of the story. If you like everything but certain bits of season four, as I do, then fear not, because season five takes interesting twists that give Buffy the juice it needs to remain a great show and a cashcow for FOX.

Summary: watch prices.....
Review: I guess I lucked out by ordering this set immediately upon finding all 4 seasons listed for ~$119...now the set price exceeds $180. I'd never watched Buffy when it was on the air as I'm not much of a vampire/horror movie person. I'm more of a Sci-Fi buff (Andromeda, Firefly, Star Trek:Deep Space Nine). But I had been greatly impressed with Firefly (Joss Whedon's work as well), and had a number of co-workers who were Buffy fans....so I gave it a shot. The first season was pretty flat but built the backstory for season 2-3 which I've really enjoyed! I'm about ready to start season 4....then the big question becomes....am I enough of a Buffy fan to go for Season 5 & 6?? If you enjoyed Roswell....this series has much of the same flavor with a bit more 'camp' and zippy dialogue. However, it doesn't come close to reaching the levels of Firefly.

Summary: Buffy Rocks!!!
Review: This is one of the best dvds ever created!!! I love all of them there full of action. Some of my fave episodes ever were:

Gingerbread- When Joyce finds two childern dead with a strange marking Buffys on the case. When she discovers that willows practicing witchcraft she knows she has to stop her. At the end Hansel and Grettel turn into a monster and Buffy saves the day by killing the monster. Go Buffy!!!

Suprises (1)- Buffy has a dream a vampire kills angel. She can't get over it. Then she finds out that spike and Drussila are building a monster. At buffys suprise party she finds that out. And at the end Angel is on the street screaming Buffys name!

NOTE: I hated part 2 A horrible conclosion.

Never kill a boy on the first date- Buffys got a crush on a boy and she also has to slay a vampire. What is she going to do? Vampires attack Giles and When Buffy ggets there she will save the day?

Hope this was helpful!

Summary: Great deal
Review: I purchased this bundle of seasons, and have no regret. Being a recent fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, this offers me the chance to view all 4 seasons in one swoop.
