Audio-enhancing features include Hyper Surround sound and dual front-firing, variable audio-output speakers that can be turned on or off from the TV menu. Hyper Surround processes any stereo audio signal by manipulating the phase relationships and frequency response for an authentic 3-D effect.The JVC AV-27D201 utilizes an icon-based onscreen display for quick access to channel and program information. Hyper Scan channel changing speeds through five stations per second, while the Return+ feature returns you to your home station after you have flipped through the channels. V-chip parental control lets you monitor what your children watch and lock them out of stations or programs you deem unsuitable.
