Description:
The gigantic, 32-inch PF3220 uses a Pure Flat picture tube, which not only looks cool compared to a conventional, bulbous screen, but also provides a high-quality, high-contrast picture owing to the screen's ability to reduce reflected ambient light. Three picture modes (normal, theater, memory) let you customize the set for different uses. The PF3220 provides stereo audio from broadcast programming via Multi-channel Television Sound (MTS), which permits broadcasters to encode stereo audio within the video portion of TV programming signals. You can choose between two sets of rear AV inputs (one of which is S-video) and a set of side AV inputs for extra convenience when hooking up a camcorder, gaming console, or other portable device. A rear AV output lets you hook the set up with a surround receiver. The set also features a trilingual onscreen display (English, Spanish, French), closed-caption display, V-Chip parental control, a sleep timer, channel recall, channel scan, and a universal remote control.
