Summary: Samsung just keeps on getting better !!!
Review: First Off Samsung is a great manufacturer, they are devoted to their products, in Quality,Convenience,Easy to use, and consumer satisfaction.Their new line of home entertainment products are both innovative and full of the most recent technology and features in todays audio/visual products. From their phones, dvd players, televisions, and home theatre products. You can bet that Samsung is up their in innovation with the top companies such as Sony,Toshiba,Panasonic, and Sharp. Now down to the nitty gritty of the review of their latest HDTV ready direct view set the Samsung TXN2775HF.
First off we have connection options galore, except only one s-video connection, but the 2 Component inputs and several composite hookups more than make up for this. The picture Quality, Which leads to our decision in picking a television set, is Exceptional,Extravagant, rich with detail, and lush with colors and the most recent technology in picture improvements makes this set Exceptionaly Beautiful and easy on the eyes to please.Think Eye Candy;) Hook up a dvd player and or dtv reciever and get blown away by what Hdtv and progressive scan Quality can offer. It's as if you were looking out a window, this ladies and gentleman is HDTV, and the standard of television in a few years from now.If you are a gamer, get treated to what progressive scan, and what samsungs innovative pro chip plus system can offer, converting analog signals to pure digital progressive scan quality. In other words you will get dramatic results in picture quality from video games, to DVD and of coarse to DTV to VCR!!!AS for Sound Quality, Samsung has thier own NEO designed sound system which offeres exceptionally clear sound. And various audio options. To End my review Samsung has made and Exceptionaly well built televsion set for those that are just starting to get into the world of HDTV,and quite affordable .If you are looking to get into the world of HDTV and don't want to spend a fortune, look into Samsung, a great selection of quality, and innovative technology.
I hope this review was helpfull to You.

Happy Shopping and enjoy what todays technology offers, Think INNOVATION Think SAMSUNG!!!

Summary: Avoid Samsung and stay happy!
Review: My Samsung TXN2775HF worked fine for 8 months until the CRT failed. It has been in the shop under warranty for almost 3 weeks with no end in sight. Samsung Customer Service is an oxymoron. They provide conflicting information and their supervisors happen to be "out of the building" when you need to talk with one. To spend this much money on a product, have it fail after such a short period of time, and then have Customer Service seem unwilling or unable to do anything about it says volumes about a company.

Summary: Cheap HDTV, Good for price, but it has issues.
Review: This is a low end HDTV, hence it's better than most normal TV's, but it still has its issues:

1. Misalignment of the picture. While watching normal Cable TV, the picture cuts off the bottom quarter inch of the picture or so. Using the Zoom features only make it worse. It's not bad, but it's really annoying if you're trying to read the scrolling information at the bottom of news channels.

2. It has two component inputs on the back, but it doesn't have a DVI connector which is nice for computer video cards that output DVI. DVI is the digital to digital connector on LCD screens and hopefully on upcoming DVD players.

3. Remote control dumbness - the remote is universal, but doesn't support most of the buttons for anything other than TV. The thing that really stinks is the "TV/Video" button on the remote. On this TV I got, if you hit this button on the remote, it goes through ANT/SVIDEO/etc, but it skips the two Component inputs on the back, only the front button (TV/Video) physically on the TV selects the component inputs. This is dumb since the reason you get an HDTV is for the Component connections. I'm not sure, but I don't think HDTV signals can go through SVideo, or composite cables. At least I think this TV only supports HDTV through it's Component inputs.

I'm happy with this TV, but I would've like to have known about these issues before I bought it.

Summary: Cheap HDTV, Good for price, but it has issues.
Review: This is probably the cheapest name-brand HDTV you can buy. It's a great value with sharp bright picture and tons of inputs for all your video game systems and peripherals.

Picture - 5/5
Great picture. You can even smooth out analog broadcast channels to make them look hdtvish. DVD's look great, like real people are on the opposite side of the glass. I can only imagine what "adult movies" look like on HDTV.

Sound - 4/5
Kinda metallic. It has multiple modes and an equalizer so if you're audio savvy you can probably fix this or just get some speakers.

Videogameability - 4.5/5
This should be a category for all TV reviews. Tons of inputs means you can plug in your xbox, ps2, AND gamecube you lucky boy/girl you.

Value - 5/5
Pretty much the lowest price for HDTV, but far from the bottom of the line. Yeah it's heavy but CRT's still deliver the best picture (plasmas burn out and lcd's have ghostly trails behind people). This is a great great deal.

Summary: Fabulous Picture and Sound
Review: This TV has the sweetest picture one can imagine, crisp, deep and the color choices can please most anyone. The sound from the side firing speakers can be adjusted to suit even the most discriminating audiophile. Remote operation is simple (read manual first). DVD picture quality is outstanding and VHS is enhanced to a new level. Great entry level HDTV!!!!
