Summary: Very suprising
Review: For the money, you will not find a better set of headphones.

However, when you take them out of the box, give them a few hours of use before you really judge them. When I first pulled mine out of the box, I was extrememly disappointed with the sound quality, especially the high end. However, even after a few hours of play time, they sounded indefinitely better. At this point, they are sounding amazing.

The low end is also very impressive. It is very tight, sometimes almost too tight! Additionally, the dampening of the headphones is very good. Even at normal listening volumes, you can barely tell if someone is standing next to you talking!

Comfortable, great sound, low price. Only drawback is you can't put the side of your head against anything, because of the cans.

Highly recommended.

Summary: GREAT HEADPHONES
Review: I recently tried buying new headphones but I had to return them and keep these over my skull!!! These are great headphones, and the price doesn't do it justice, these Headphones offer a wide range of frequencys it handles the deepest bass and the highest peaks, I have put these headphones through a workout listening to led zeppelin!! talk about range, you've got thundering drums and bass, with a wailing vocalist screaming at the top of his lungs!! this pair of headphones handles it masterfully!! Maybe not good enough for you stupid snotty "audiophiles" oh nothings good enough for me except BOSE blah blah blah, well you should give these a test anyways... I highly recommend these headphones!

Summary: Great headphones
Review: These headphones produce an incredible sound for its price. The bass gets so powerful, that you can actually feel it. It also creates a very clear and rich sound. Hands down, you will never find better headphones for this price. It is truly a rare gem to beadle to get a nearly professional quality headphone for the amount people pay for basic ear buds. The one cord makes putting the headphones on and taking them off very easy. The cord is so long that you can set your portable player down and walk around a room without taking the headphones off. The only problem I find with the cord is that it tends to tangle. The cups are so large, and fit your head so well that the headphones reduce outside sound just as well if not better than noise canceling headphones. The only flaw I found with the overall headphones is that the edges of the material Aiwa used to comfort your ears tend to tear.
