Summary: Don't rely on reviews
Review: After reading the favorable reviews I decided to purchase this item. I am located in a very good location for receiving TV signals with just an indoor antenna, but this item failed miserably to bring in anything at all. Go figure.

Review: An average product, I think there are better portable TVs out there. This one is extremely tiny, the screen is only about 2.5 inches. If you have poor eyesight, you definitely wouldn't want to purchase this product.

It does get decent reception for me, and the batteries (if you use good ones) last for about 3 hours. It has the option to use headphones with it and the sound is decent. It comes with a stand, which is useful for standing it up on a table or countertop.

I would recommend researching other portable TVs before purchasing this one. While the price is nice, it is smaller than expected. The price is affordable though, so it might be just what you're looking for if you have decent vision and want something that is VERY portable.

Summary: You can't see a darn thing
Review: Before you buy this, know this: It does not look as big as it does on the web site!!!!!!! This is a very, very small television. As someone who requires closed-captioning and has difficulty reading small text, I got very little use out of this television.

Review: Don't rely on Gerald Cawthra's reviews for:

After reading the favorable reviews I decided to purchase this
item. I am located in a very good location for receiving TV
signals with just an indoor antenna, but this item failed
miserably to bring in anything at all. <==No, I don't think so.

Response: Well, I am located in a not-so-good rural area,
however, this little TV brought all channels I wanted (with
sharp images and beautiful colors)- BBC1,BBC2 and more. Check
your indoor antenna first. Moreover, try a outdoor antenna next
time!

Summary: No complaints here
Review: Having not heard of the "Action" name and not yet seeing a picture on Amazon's site, I was a bit hesitant to purchase this item. I live in a fringe reception area and did not expect much from the unit at my home... and did not get much either. But, since then I have taken it on the road to try it various places and yesterday to San Francisco for a ball game (my main purpose for such a device anyway) and was not disappointed in the least. In fact, the woman in front of me had a little Radio Shack unit and her reception was very borderline while mine was sharp and clear. The screen size is sufficient and the contrast options seem to be as good as any for viewing in the sunlight during ballgames. I have no expereince with any other handhelds, but hear that they all eat batteries. I used rechargeables and got good results for 3-4 hours it seems, and would guess that alkalines would do better even... either way, enough for a ballgame. I got good results in several hotels along a recent road trip as well on both UHF and VHF channels. From what I can see, you won't do much better elsewhere for the price. Go for it.

Summary: Great for emergencies!
Review: I bought this tv as part of my "hurricane supplies" and was pleasantly surprised because initially, I was very suspicious since I'd never heard of the company and was leaning towards a casio. It has a clear picture, the sound is good, and it worked fine for the entire time I was without power. I think it is an excellent value.

Summary: A solid product! Good reception.
Review: I got good receptions in a remote area. I used it in a ball game and watch live telecast and it worked well! It's a power hungry unit thought. Get some recharagealbe batteries ready when you go out with it.

Summary: Absolute JUNK!!!
Review: I purchased this tv with the hopes of having it as a back-up for a hurricane. I lost cable and began using it. The reception was terrible, but I was at least getting 2 stations. I just now went to use it again a few hours later and it is already broken. Aside from having terrible reception when it does work, it is also a worthless piece of junk Do yourself a favor and buy a better tv...one that actually works.
