Technics' SL-BD20D belt-driven, semi-automatic turntable is a steal: reliable, convenient, and affordable. The SL-BD20D offers a DC servo motor to maintain accurate rotational speed at either 33-1/3 or 45 rpm, giving new life to 7- and 12-inch singles you may not have played for years. Semi-automatic performance means operation starts when you drop the needle in the groove, and at the end of a side the tone arm returns to its original position and the turntable stops rotating. The 'table comes with a moving-magnet cartridge that plugs directly into the tone arm, and its antiresonant base prevents excessive rumble, feedback, and skipping during loud listening sessions.
