Description:

Perfect for stylish entertainment in the kitchen or office, Panasonic's vivid yet compact TC-11LV1 includes both a flat, 11-inch LCD screen and a DVD player as well. The unit's widescreen (16:9) dimensions are perfect for viewing DVDs in their native aspect ratios, and you can immerse yourself with room-filling music and sound effects by routing the unit's Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround output to a compatible audio/video receiver and speaker system (though you'll need an optional minijack-to-Toslink optical cable for that).

The 854 x 480-pixel TC-11LV1 uses several picture-improving technologies. An onboard 3D Y/C digital comb filter enhances its resolution by removing blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl. Active Light Control circuitry automatically detects the brightness levels of the input signal and adjusts the backlight accordingly, enhancing brightness levels for both light and dark scenes. Finally, Active System Control works with Active Light Control to adjust the video signal according to the image contrast, adding greater brightness to bright scenes and more depth to darker ones.

You can connect the set to a cable signal or VCR through a rear-panel RF coaxial video jack, and the set's auto channel programming will scan for any available video signals, which you can manually edit afterward. A single rear-panel set of AV inputs simplifies hookup with a camcorder, game console, or VCR with stereo analog audio inputs and a choice of composite- or S-video jacks.

Parental locks block access to specific channels through password protection, and a headphone/earphone jack allows private listening.
