Summary: Great clarity and value for mid-size binoculars!
Review: Just got these binoculars for Christmas, so I've only used them for backyard birding for two days, but I'm very impressed. Once I made the custom adjustments for my eyes (one perfect, one very near-sighted), focusing became so quick and precise. I had been borrowing a pair of Zeiss 8x20 compact folding pocket binoculars, which currently sell for twice the price of the Bruntons, and I much prefer my new Bruntons. The Zeiss were much lighter and smaller but difficult to focus in a hurry. The Bruntons may be a bit bulkier to carry on hikes, but the quick focusing, rubber armor and weather-proofing make up for the extra size and weight. The clarity is as good as if not better than the Zeiss. Can't wait to use these in the great outdoors.
