Summary: Excellent
Review: Good optics, perfect magnification for sporting events, and at an awesome price. To top it off, a 6 foot drop onto concrete caused no damage.

Summary: Great for watching auto races
Review: I bought two pairs - one for me and one for my wife - for our first trip to the Daytona International Speedway (Florida) for the Pepsi 400 NASCAR night race. Small enough to fit into the cargo pocket on the side of my shorts, these things worked great, even under the lights. The binoculars kept their focus and stayed sharp. The rubber coating is a nice touch and a good way to keep them from getting dinged up when hanging from my neck. The binoculars come with a soft case that can be worn on a belt, but I stuffed them, case and all, into my cargo pocket. There's an adjustment on the right cylinder for correcting the vision for those of us who wear glasses, and once its set it won't drift. Nice touch.

Review: It is compact, simple and easy to use, yet clear and efficient. The price is just too good. I am buying one more for my friend!

Summary: A Few Caveats
Review: The "product specs" ... says this item has a near focus of 12 feet, but in fact it will not focus closer than 21 feet. The focus wheel is very hard to turn compared with a Nikon Travelite set I have used for years, and the linkage has about .5mm end play, making an annoying chore of focusing on moving objects. The collimation of both samples is poor, though not so much as to make them painful to use occasionally. The two sets I tried show similar deficiencies, but one set had no end play in the focus linkage of only the left side - a most annoying fault. Finally, Meade's "lifetime warranty" requires a ... "shipping and handling" fee, ...

Summary: Great Price, Great Binoculars!
Review: The pair I got I am VERY pleased with. They have very good optical properties, the occular adjustment was able to adjust between both my eye's. (I have seen some binoculars that did not have enough range in the occular to adjust between the difference in my eye's) and the brightness of the image was very good for such a small diameter lense. IMHO this is a superior product to Bushnell and Tasco products of similar design and you can't beat the price!

Summary: A killer deal
Review: The Wall Street Journal reviewed these binoculars. They are easy to use and you can actually see the people on the stage when you are in the back row. As the WSJ said, "A killer of a deal>" For under thirty dollars you can't do better.
