Bushnell Yardage Pro 1000, 1500yds Laser Rangefinder

Review: My hunting buddy purchased a Nikon 800. My intent was to put him in the shade. That Nikon kicks the crap out of my Bushnell Yardage Pro 1000. Tried new batteries, tried bluffing, even tried to lie but nothing helped this product past 500/600 yards.
My opinion is this product is not worth the postage.
Anyone with similar opinion or someone that has had a good experience with this product. [...]
