Summary: Horrible quality control, defies Creative's good reputation.
Review: A bit pricey, but unfortunately, you need one of these things to unlock the FM radio feature. The big issues: After a couple months of flawless performance, I started to get the noise, random cutoff and extremely touchy controls noted in other reviews here. After one not-too-tremendous drop, the remote stopped working completely. Still writing to Creative about beginning the RMA process.

As far as when it's working, like I said, it's necessary for radio features. On my Muvo2, it's particularly crucial, since the poorly-designed case doesn't allow access to any of the controls (let alone the LCD screen), so if you want to protect the player, you'll either have this or be pulling apart the case's velcro over and over. Unfortunately, the remote doesn't let you change folders, so you'll be pulling the player out from time to time regardless.

The unit is a bit big and awkward, especially with the way it plugs into a Muvo. The 'mode' button is easy to hit accidentally. Of course, I'd live with the drawbacks to get the extra features and accessibility -- if my unit worked. In that case, I'd probably give it three stars.

Summary: Breaks Easily!
Review: I bought mine for my Zen Touch. After 4 months of very little use the thing craps out on me. It first started with static and now the thing doesn't even power on. If you do decide to purchase this product BABY it. Don't wrap the wire around the player.

Summary: Works great for me!
Review: I found one on Ebay many months back and paid $100 for it. Since I use it on my motorcycle, I was willing to pay this. I can leave the Jukebox inside my tankbag in a padded case, and the remote rides out on my tankbag. I can pause/advance songs, turn it on (after fuel/food stops), and change volume as needed. The only thing I would change about this unit is the ability to have the cable longer for custom installs on bikes. Other than that, I am very happy. Has held up to some rain, and none too gentle duty for about a year now.

Summary: Screamably bad
Review: I waited 8 months for this product, paid list price for it through the company, and it broke in two weeks. Not just BROKE, mind you, but the cable that connected the unit to the player snapped because it was so flimsy. This of course rendered the whole thing useless. I was not a very happy camper. I didn't even ask for a replacement -- I asked for my money back from Creative. Even that was a problem, but that was a whole other story!

Summary: Just weird....
Review: It has some neat features, like FM and backlit display for night time. I have the nomad3 mounted under the seat with this display on the console. However, the buttons are funky. Sometimes not working. For example, to turn on the unit, you have to hold the on button for a good length of time - but even that doesn't do it. Sometimes you have to do thisonce, sometimes twice - most often 3 times before it will turn on the player. To turn off, hold the stop button - this always works. There is no album advance either - making skipping an album a chore. Construction is somewhat flimsy so no swinging the player around by the remote...

Summary: Necessity, But Poorly Designed
Review: This is a necessity and I'd recommend it, but suggest you be VERY careful with it. Had mine for a couple months before it started switching modes and turning off and on if you bend the cable to a certain point. I've taken good care of it, too. I don't recall ever tugging it abruptly from the remote. I had to buy another one because I need it for my workouts when I have it in a belt CD case in the gym.
