this camera is very unique. i have a tungsten t2 and its really nice. right now I have about 40 pictures and i can hold another 40, but i would be able to hold even more if i didnt have so much stuff on my palm. anyone with a high resolution palm should get this. great product.

Summary: A very poor porduct. Skip it.
Review: Dont buy this. You can only take 3-4 pics before you MUST resync. Therefore it is USELESS. See below issue....
Your advice unfortunately does not represent a solution. I suppose what you propose will marginally work for the issue of copying, albeit it is an unattractive "kluge" remedy.

However, I am still severly limited in functionality. So much so, that I may as well not bother with the device.

You see, on the Palm Desktop, I have around 9mb free space. However, your application will NOT use but around 500-800k of that 9mb for file storage. Once th800-900k is exceeded, I can no longer take more photographs. If I were to copy the app to the SD card, then I could only copy over the 600-800k of files that are held within the App. If I were to copy subsequent copies of the app, then these would write over the pre-existing app instance, as well as consume a lot of extra file space with the app being included with each file transfer.

ALL PALM must face the same limitation as they ALL have similar base system RAM amounts. (16-32mb). AS this NOT upgradable, your product is effectively worthless given the limited file managment functionilty capabilities.

Summary: I'm Amazed
Review: I bought this 10 days ago not expecting much. I own a Palm M130, Treo 300 and recently bought a Treo 90. I have taken a lot of photos with this on my Treo 90 and it is magnificient. I'm really impressed with the picture quality. I use to own the Kodak Palm Pix Camera for my Palm IIIc, and let me tell you, this Veo SD camera is so much better than that. I haven't tried this on my Palm M130 yet; but it works great on my Treo 90. Installation and set up was simple. The small case that comes with the camera is very cute. I'm very satisfied so far.

Summary: Fun PDA attachment
Review: I have had one of these for about a week and I'm impressed. I use it with my Treo 90 pda and it takes good picutures. At first I was worried--having read the other reviews, as all my pictures were turning out blurry. After I spent some time learning how to focus, the pictures became clear. I have a $700 digital camera that takes FANTASTIC pics. My son and daughter have $200 cameras that take really good pics. This pda attachment, costing roughly 60-70 dollars takes good pics. I really like the way the camera swivels so I can aim the camera at myself, at someone standing in front of me or at someone standing to the side of me. It's also very easy to use. I plugged it into my pda and within an hour I was hotsynching the pics to my desktop computer and playing with them. It's a great product. I'm very satisfied with the purchase. For the price, it's a good and fun pda attachment.

Summary: Poor Product. Never think to buy it
Review: I just got the camera after shiping it to one of my friends in US and he sent it back to me to Cairo. I am really shocked of the poor quality of images. I keep asking my self how can they sell a product like this. I tried it for few minutes then relized that the normal place to put it in is the trash. I paid $80 and got nothing. It is too slow for preview, quality is poor, and never think about taking outdoor photos because you won't see anything. I have TT2 palm with high resolution screen and 24 bit color. When you move the photos to the PC, they are extermly bad and unacceptable. If I were in the US I am sure I would return it back.

Summary: save the extra few hundred to buy a real one
Review: The lens is focused by turning a small conical shaped portion of the housing (hard to grab) more that 360 degrees to get the full range. My PDA resolution is 160x160 and it's hard to tell when you've got the image in focus or not.

Summary: Really Fun Toy!
Review: This arrived today and I couldn't wait to rip it right of the of the box. It does not disappoint. The installation was a breeze, just hotsynch the software and go. Photos are pretty good quality for a small digi-cam such as this, even the low-light ones came out well.

I'm using this camera with the Kyocera 7135 Smartphone. On screen display seems a bit sluggish, but that could be the phone. For those using the same phone, you need to go to the veo website to download an adapter patch for the software. It was easily locatable on the site and fixed the screen orientation problem.

The sleek bullet-like case is very handy and perfectly fits the camera. This is proving to be a neat little toy.
