Summary: Really handy non-professional cam/viedo thingamabober
Review: alright, i got this for X-mas, and i really liked it. I admitt i was dissapointed with the light issue, and a lot of the memory and battery trouble, but as long as your not trying to make a professional looking movie, this product rocks! Buying extra memory is a definite must, but for me its easier, because i also use my CF cards for mp3's too, so i baught a 128 and already had a 32 so i'm in good shape. This product is really nice, because its small, will fit anywhere, and you can take movies of your friends without habing to hold that big camera, and the thing is digital, so no tapes getting stuck or anything! Buy this product for just a fun camera, that your whole family can use!

Summary: The Bring it Anywhere Cam...
Review: Are you looking for a camcorder, and don't have the $ to buy one? Or do you have the cash, but want something small, easy to carry, and gives you the ability to download movies to your computer? Then you've found the right piece of equipment. This camera is amazing! Compared to the price of the Panasonic (you know what I'm talking about) it's practically the same, it only lacks no mp3 function. But it excels in price, and quality of the pictures, did I mention price?... It does take some time to get use to the menu, but once you've taken the time (about 10min) to learn it, you've got it. The software is very pointless, all I do (for XP) is plug it into the USB port, and open the folder, copy and paste, then delete the videos and pictures on the cam from the OS. The LCD doesn't show up that great in direct sunlight, and the annoying beep, beep gets annoying at the beginning but you get use to it. You also need some sunlight to make the pictures show up, but any real software can correct this if you need to. The features of this camera include a camcorder, camera, and voice recorder, and video playback, I suggest you invest in a Compact Flash Card (128mb), I got one for 40bux @ Costco. So if your looking for a multi-function camera/camcorder that allows transfer to your computer, this is the right one for you. PS, don't expect EXECELLET videos with this ... camcorder, you can expect a great cam that you can pull out of your jacket, and...BAM! You've got a cam that can record anything, anywhere, and everywhere (except dark places).

Summary: if you enjoy pictures with bad quality, go right ahead...
Review: don't waste your money on this! i haven't even heard of this company, but they really should consider improving this camera. the quality is bad, and dark. just looking at the lcd screen makes my eyes hurt. when hooked up to the computer, however bright your light is in your room, it's really dark and you have to toggle with the controls on a photoshop software in order to make the picture decent. i don't think that's worth it. and sometimes it doesn't even work, even if you do try to fix it in a photoshop program. and it has an annoying beeping sound when you turn it on and take pictures. you should seriously reconsider, if you're thinking of buying this item. unless you're extremely careful with it, and you don't mind the bad quality, then i guess it's okay if you buy it. but i wouldn't suggest taking professional pictures with it.

by the way, it broke by the second week that i had bought it. it must've gotten jostled in my purse or something, but it refused to turn on after a while, and when it did, it kept taking pictures by itself.

Summary: Awesome
Review: I bought this camera because I needed to post pictures on the web. I also wanted to video tape some things I had built in action. The camera works perfectly for this. It's also small and cheap. It fits on my desk with the nifty tri-pod thingy, and that also makes it easy to set something up and shoot while you aren't at the camera. The compact flash storage is great, get a 512 mb and never worry about memory. I have a 32 and got about 80 pics on it when I was at the NYC auto show. This camera also has adjustable focus. You can take close ups (16 inches) or infinitely far shots. Just makes sure you remember to use it (I forgot at the car show and about 40 of the above mentioned 80 pics came out blury). The pictures at their native resolution aren't always great, but if you scale them down and tweak them a little they are perfect. The video mode is my favorite feature. I can carry this around and video tape random things, which is great. It's small, so people always are impressed with it and think it is much more expensive then it is... and if you like to show off that is always fun :-P The menu system is very easy to use, so you won't get lost in it and accidently delete everything. You can plug it into a TV and use the TV as the LCD screen, but it will be a bit blury. Connection with a computer is very easy, but most of the included software isn't great. Just download some free stuff like "The Gimp" and you'll be fine. The price here is even cheaper than when I got it. I payed [a fair amount of money]and it was worth that, and it's cheaper now so I'd say get it before it's gone! You will NOT find a better digicam at this price, and never with these features. Video, stills, audio, compact flash, and it has an LCD screen (though it's not the best, it's still there which is VERY helpful). Well, this isn't my best written review ever, but I think I got my point across. Buy this now, it's awesome!

Summary: Junk! Don't buy!
Review: I bought this camera because I wanted something inexpensive, and it seemed to have pretty good resolution for the price. Wrong! Even the smallest photos turned out blurry because of the poor lens. Spend a little more money and get something useable.

Summary: Argh!
Review: I bought this DV camcorder thing thinking that it would be a great little camera/camcorder to take on vacations and to capture those unforgetable moments with. Boy was I mistaken! When it starts up, it makes a little tinny boop-boop-boop sound. The image on the lcd screen is horrendously grainy and the sound quality is extremely bad. Overall this camera is pretty bad. It also doesnt have a flash so you cant take pictures in low light. You also have to turn on the backlight to see the picture on the lcd and there is no zoom. The viewfinder is almost impossible to look through and it sucks up battery life like a hoover. Im selling mine at a garage sale.

Summary: DO NOT BUY
Review: I don't care what anybody says, listen to me. I bought this so called camera and it flat out sucked. You can't barely see the screen and you can't shoot outside cuz the pics are too bright and if you shoot anywhere else it is too dark. You might as well take the $ and throw it out in the trash, because that's what you will do to this camera if you buy it.

Summary: Don't buy it!
Review: I don't know if I got a lemon or not, but this camera has been a piece of junk from the beginning. I purchased extra storage card to use with it. The camera worked once with the storage card. I tried to get help from the Aiptek customer service. BIG JOKE! Don't waste money on this one!

Summary: Go ahead and buy it
Review: I got this camera for Christmas last night. Being a teenager (and aspiring photographer who also loves to make movies) it's a great little knick knack. however, since i love to take pictures and love to make movies (and also like to listen to music) the fact that it comes with so little memory bothers me. It was very easy to figure out however, but the music was confusing. It was on the camera, but I couldn't find it. I knew it was there because I could only record 15 seconds worth of film. When I moved all the music out of the MP3 folder on my computer, all of a sudden I could get about 2 minutes worth of film. This is a great camera for the daytime and outdoors, and if you get more memory for it it'll be much better and more useful. There IS a flash for the camera, but it is REALLY intense. It's kind of a mixed review, but I'd say go on ahead and buy it, because it's cheap and it works for what it's worth.

Summary: Excellent Digital Camcorder
Review: I have loved this digital camcorder from the first time I used it. For the size it is, it is an awfully good camera. It has many features, like a video recorder, voice recorder, digital still camera, and can be used as a webcam. This product takes very good pictures, if you are in good lighting. If you aren't the pictures may be hard to see. Seeing as there is no flash you have to have light in the background. If you want to be able to take for than 16 pictures at a time I suggest you get a compact flash memory card to hold them on. Also same thing for movies, to take a lone movie you have to have a memory card, there isn't enough memory built into the system to be able to take a long movie. Another thing is the battery runs out fast, if you goes low while you are using the camera your pictures may not be saved. So make sure you watch the amount of power in the batteries before it is to late. I guess you can say you get what you pay for seeing as this is an inexpensive camera. Overall, this camera is great if you have good lighting, a memory card, and long lasting batteries.
