Summary: A great one for travellers
Review: The compact size and light weight make the PowerShot S20 a great camera for travellers. The photo quality is so good, a little surprise to me. This is my first digital camera. A great buy.

Summary: Convenient size & high-quality photos!
Review: This is a great camera. I did a large amount of research, as this was to be my first digital camera purchase. The Powershot S20's best feature is it's small size, which fits into a pocket or a small purse. I don't like to carry a bulky camera or a separate camera bag so this is the perfect camera for vacations. I like being able to delete bad photos so I can shoot scores of photos and not be worried about wasting film. Also it is easy to switch from color to b/w to sepia from one shot to the next. One feature that was not mentioned anywhere is "photo stitching", which allows for panoramic prints. The quality of the prints are great and both the camera and the software were easy to learn to use.
Why I did not rate this with 5 stars: Despite a good package price, by the time all the necessary accessories are purchased, the total is quite pricey. It is very important to purchase the Power Supply Kit (A/C adapter, rechargeable battery, battery charger) since the disposable battery included lasts only about an hour. It is also imperative to purchase another CompactFlash Card (at least 128MB) to store a decent number of shots. FOR MAC USERS: Purchase a USB Flash Memory Reader, as the camera's USB connection will not work with a USB Hub--it needs to plug directly into your Mac. (Without the Reader I had to unplug my printer in order to connect the camera directly to my Mac.) The Reader can plug into your USB Hub so no more unplugging of your USB devices in order to download shots from the camera. Plus, the downloads are much faster using the Reader. You just take the CompactFlash Card out of the camera and insert it into the Reader, which your Mac reads as any other removable drive (Zip Drive, Floppy) on the Desktop.
All-in-all, the Powershot S20 is a conveniently small, easy-to-use camera, but be aware that in order to purchase all of the necessary add-ons, this camera package can get quite expensive.

Summary: Canon PowerShot S20 - WOW what a camera
Review: This is the first digital camera I have ever owned/used. I bought this camera last week after much research in person at stores and over the internet. I am amazed how easy it is to operate... so far. The picture quality is very clear and I am having great fun learning how all the functions work. For the price (which this package deal is a great buy) I could not have asked for more. The software that is included is very easy to use for those that are doing scrap projects or just e-mailing pictures to Grandma. My overall rating is 4 because I am not sure of all the additional features I have not yet tried, but I am sure it will become a 5 as soon as I get more exposure.

Summary: Great Easy to Use Camera
Review: This is the first digital camera I have ever used. Instructions were easy to follow. I love the size of the camera and the quality of the pictures. The features are easy to use to meet your needs. I would recommend getting the rechargable battery pack because the disposal batteries don't last very long at all. Also, get an additional memory card, just in case you are taking a lot of pictures.

Summary: Died after 2 years
Review: We got an E6 Error on our camera, sent it to the Canon Authorized Repair in Illinois. We received an estimate for $155, with a note that it could cost more to repair. There was no explanation of the problem, just "fix due to E6 error." So we bought a new camera (Sony) and gave up on the Canon. We owned the camera for 2 years and 3 days.

Summary: I love this Camera
Review: We looked and looked for a digital camera before deciding on this one. We love it the pictures are fantastic it is easy to use and for the price it was really worth it with the extra card. I can say though you have to purchase the Cannon recharchable battery pack. We went through two batteries in the first two days so it is definatly worth shelling out the money . We use this camera all the time and we love it!!I would definatly purchase again.A++++

Summary: Amazing image quality for the first compact 3.3 megp camera.
Review: Well, I loved the S10.. For me it was the first digital camera to have the quality of the best compact film cameras with great features, pocketability, image quality and a robust build. The S20 takes that to the next level with even better image quality, many white and colour balance improvements and the added resolution which places it above the current crop of 2.1 megapixel digicams.

Summary: All Around Perfect !!!
Review: Wow, with this sale price in Amazon. This is the best deal in the planet. Get it while you can people (I just wished I bought it here.)

Although this model had been discontinued by Canon, but with 3.3 megapixels, Sharp Images, and limited control of photo mode (i.e: slow shutter, fast shutter, macro, and more) it really give the plus touch and worth the money. Besides its an Elph model, it is tinny enough to be carry around and it looks cool.

Another plus side, it takes IBM Microdrive !!! I bought 1GB Microdrive which I shared with my Compaq Ipaq (another excellent product) and it lets me take hundreds of pictures. Oh, one more thing! You should also invest in Canon DK110 Power Supply Kit and another extra Canon NB-5H Battery, because if you take pictures with the LCD on, it will drain the power real fast.
