 Description:

Konica Minolta's much-awaited entry into the digital SLR arena will come in the form of what's currently being called the Maxxum 7 Digital. Featuring a six-megapixel APS-C-sized CCD, the camera is expected to use Konica Minolta's AF lens mount, which means it will be able to uses the lenses from their popular Maxxum, Dynax and Alpha 35mm SLR lines. The Maxxum Digital will incorporate a unique body-integral anti-shake system--the first ever in an interchangeable-lens digital camera. Although the camera's body design has not yet been finalized as of May 2004, it is expected to have an ergonomic feel similar to the Maxxum 7 35mm SLR.
