Summary: Canon z155 Excellent Camera and Features!
Review: I love this camera because the pics come out so clear and detailed. Each of the settings are a must. I like to use the night setting for taking pics at night time. Faces actually came out without that ghost look. Portrait mode is great and balances the brightness/contrast evenly. Action mode is also a must because it took great action pics at a soccer game. Overall the auto mode is great and it will work great in common conditions. Another good feature that I'm not to crazy about that's also a plus is the captions. This allows you to add words to the pic such as "I love you" or "Happy Birthday". The captions are limited but I could care less about that. Otherwise you will love this camera. I bought it on sale for ... Just shop around but if you can't wait, just go for it. You will not be sorry. The Canon Z155 truly delievers.

Review: I picked up one of these before a recent rip to Paris. The pictures were surprisingly good for a point and shoot.

Summary: This is one AWESOME Camera!
Review: I purchased the Z155 at Target last year and have used it to take literally hundreds of photos. Though I'm only an amateur photographer, I've actually gotten numerous compliments on the photos this camera takes; in fact, one of my photos was featured on the front page of the local paper because the editors liked it so much. As for the guy who wrote a review who said that he went to the Smoky Mountains and all of his pictures came out grey, well--I LIVE in the Smoky Mountains, and I can tell you--they don't call 'em the Smokies for nothin'. It wasn't your camera. I take pictures of the Smokies, too, and mine turn out great with this camera. The ZOOM is the best I've ever seen, and this camera even takes great action shots. I once used it to take pictures of the scenery while I was riding in a moving vehicle, and they turned out perfectly--not blurry at all. You just have to read the owner's manual and learn what the buttons on the back are for. Then, simply point and click. That's why they call it a Sure Shot. It's great for amateurs like me. My sister even called me to ask what the model number was so that she could ask for one for herself for Christmas.

Summary: Excellent camera ,highly recommended!
Review: I was surprised to read all the negative reviews about the canon z155. My own experience with this camera has been basically positive. Since purchasing the camera 7 months ago, the majority of my prints have been sharp, clear, colors bright and true to life. The only drawback i can think of is the pictures do tend to blur when using full zoom without a tripod. I dont think this is specifically Canon's problem, though, because photography books all recommend using a tripod when using a high zoom. At 155mm, one needs a very steady hand or the pictures blur. When I do use a tripod, even my pictures at the highest zoom come out crystal clear. I'd recommend this camera anytime!

Summary: not so happy....
Review: i was using a canon sure shot 85 zoom for about 4 years and decided i wanted to "move up" to something newer and "better". i was sadly disappointed with this canon z155 camera. the 85 takes better or equally good pictures as the z155! the zoom is longer BUT the quality greatly diminishes when using that long zoom so basicly it defeats the purpose in my opinion... clear pictures are important to me! and especially if im going to pay $... for a point and shoot camera it especially better take goooooood pictures ya know? well, the close up pictures taken with little zoom came out nice and clear- as wil most any camera... but as i mentioned earlier when the zoom was used most of the way the quality was sad... the night shot mode was nice but that is included in a lot of cameras these days... i took a picture of a dollhouse lit only by a night light and the picture came out clear and lit. there were glares on my daughters eyes and other little things that all but ruin a good picture :( basicly i would NOT recommend this camera..(especially for as much as it costs!) if you really want more than about 80 mm zoom i would recommend going SLR. maybe canon will come out with abetter long zoom soon.. ...

Summary: Worst camera ever
Review: I was very disappointed when I got my film developed from the Canon Z155!! I went to a concert, took 5 rolls of film, and only like 24 pics came out halfway decent...ALL of the zoomed pictures came out blurry, no matter what setting I tried or what speed of film!! I even had front row, and most didn't come out!! Very Very disappointed... I would not recommend this camera if you want zoomed photos! Even the outdoor zoomed pics were not top quality!!

Summary: What a Disappointment!!!
Review: I wish I'd read the reviews on Amazon before I purchased this piece of junk. I've had it two weeks and taken five rolls of film in hopes that I just wasn't used to the camera yet. I came to the conclusion that a professional photographer couldn't get decent pictures with this camera. I've tried different speeds of film, different settings, lighting, etc., and the only shots that have been good are those in which the subject and everything around it is absolutely still. Not a good thing when taking photos at a ball game! I can get clearer photos from a throw-away. Canon should be ashamed to put their name on it. I'm returning it to Wal-Mart and trying the Pentax IQZoom that has better reviews. If that one doesn't suit me I may be using disposables the rest of my life.

Summary: Loud and Slow
Review: Man, I can't believe how slow this camera is to take the next shot! It takes almost 6 seconds 'til I can take another picture. And the zooming is so loud. And it's not a pretty sound either!

Summary: Very Disappointed!
Review: This camera has been a nightmare from day one. I'm pretty sure I received a lemon, but in two attempts to repair it, the manufactuer has been unsuccessful. I feel the camera should have been replaced, but my warranty is now up and I am stuck with a camera that does not take sharp photos - often without focusing on anything in the picture. The sports setting is also useless, as any shot with slight movement comes out very blurry. I, personally, would not recommend this camera.
