Summary: The fun of it is the most important part
Review: I definately love this camera. It's incredibly fun and gratifying to get your pictures developed a minute after you take them, and this camera in all honesty isn't meant to be professional. If you want professional quality go buy an slr or a digital. This kind of camera should be purely considered for enjoyment. Yes it is heavy but not in a way that makes it uncomfortable--it's bulk makes it nostalgic. It has very basic camera features and is one of, if not the, easiet camera i've ever used--just shove the film in and go. The camera takes decent quality pictures and tends to put a slight sepia tint on them when taken inside, but i consider that a cool trademark effect. The features of this camera include a lens that can be slid over to take closer pictures, a sliding numberless aperture setting, built in flash, and a button that lets you control the use of your flash. The only drawback is the fact that you can't take pictures closer than 2 feet (like all polaroid cameras). The lens of the camera also makes ojects closer to the camera larger in proportion to ojects farther from the cameraon the prints but it's not incredibly noticable. Overall, I enjoy it very much and would whole-eartedly recommend it for anyone.

Summary: Polaroid's old-timer is their standout bargain
Review: Lately Polaroid has been busy trying to light a fire under their flagging sales by introducing a raft of 'life-style accessory' cameras: the i-zone, JoyCam, PopShots and most recently, the Spectra FF. But its their oldest model, the One Step, that offers the most bang for the buck. The i-zone, PopShots and JoyCam models foolishly have dispensed with Polaroid's traditional lighten/darken control. Since Polaroid instant film has a rather narrow range of tone and contrast, an exposure that's sligthly too light or dark can be much more disappointing than if it were shot with a conventional camera. And at nearly a buck a pop, disappointing snapshots get pretty expensive. The One Step still has a slide control for adjusting exposure, which gives you some chance of salvaging a shot that otherwise wouldn't impress. The One Step models also give you a swing-in close-up lens for getting more pleasing portrait shots.

The newer One Step Express and Silver Edition models offer the same features, plus an adjustable hand strap in a spiffed-up package; its your call as to whether the strap and added swoop is worth the extra ten bucks. Polaroid's other new-comer, the Spectra 1200FF offers essentially the same features with a wider-angle lens, fold-up body and rectangular format film. Its also nearly twice as ... For practical features in a reliable, bargain-priced package, the One Step Close-up model is the pick of the lot.

Summary: Okay pictures, but...
Review: The first thing I did with this camera was how comfortable taking pictures with it was. I had problems seeing the subject, because it had a very small view so my nose just keep hitting the camera just to get the best view with this thing. That's my reason it's not THAT good of a camera.

I saw that more expensive cameras usually takes better pictures. The retailer took two pictures with two different cameras and one seemed darker and less vibrant(guess which one is the more expensive one).

Finally, I just don't know why, in Canada, films for these cameras are just too expensive. It cost me two dollars every picture! At that price, I rather buy a SRL camera.

Summary: Oops... I dropped it again
Review: This camera feels like hold a huge sandwich. This thing almost slipped out of my hands when I was tired, but the bad thing was when the retailer swept the dust off the camera to show it to me. And then BANG! he took a picture of me when I least suspect it. The flash stunned me for a while...

If you are short of funds and size matters, this is okay as it is.

The thing that disapointed me was that when I tried to take a picture, I had to look through the little hole with my unperfect vision. It's like lokking at a one centimeter squared picture and you want to see the details.

Since I don't want to type more, you must read other reviews of the other cameras. It's not my fault if I like to critic products... people even told me to... huh... read books, because i'm 15 and I spend a lot of time buying stuff.

Summary: A Handy Cam
Review: This is a nice camera for those quick instant photos you want of people. However the size of it is large and the photos aren't exactly TOP quality. It's nice to have for those quick shots to show right away. The actual picture aren't something you put in a scrapbook or picture book, but I wouldn't buy this camera for those reasons. These pictures are ment for the refrigerator or a bulliten board to look at on your way out or for quick viewing. Thats why I like it because the pictures are nice to look at, but they're not priceless pictures that you treasure. So in conclusion, I would highly recommend this camera for fun and quick purposes.
