Description:

This version of the Minolta Maxxum HTsi 35mm SLR camera comes with a 28-80mm zoom lens and a 75-300mm zoom lens. The wide variety of available zoom ranges, in combination with the 2 fps continuous shooting mode, lets you capture sports shots even from high up in the stands. You can also use the zoom to take intimate portraits of your loved ones or close-ups of natural landscapes with the appropriate preprogrammed mode.

Minolta separated the basic functions from the more advanced ones in an easy-to-understand, logical manner. The basic functions help you learn about your camera and what it can do, but once you've mastered those, you can experiment with the more advanced features at your own pace. Your shots can become more creative as you learn and try all the features available to you. In addition, the subject program selections--portrait, landscape, close-up, sports/action, and night portrait--are quite easy to use and let you get the shot right the first time.

The HTsi has a built-in, pop-up flash with a normal flash sync of up to 1/125 second. High-speed flash sync, up to 1/4,000 second, is possible when the camera is used with the Minolta Maxxum Flash 5400HS flash unit. It also has nine custom functions that allow you to set the camera to your particular preferences.
