Summary: Solid printer with great photo quality
Review: With the amount of photo quality this printer puts out, you would expect it to use a lot of ink. Compared to HP, ink is a real bargain.

I first got this printer when my cheap HP broke down after having it for 8 months. I had heard of the photo quality of epson, so I decided to buy one. I was impressed to say the least. It not only printed pictures well, but on glossy paper, I couldn't tell the difference between regular developed pictures from wal-mart and my epson printer.

It's extreemly reliable too. I know this because, sometimes we abuse it by putting in too much paper or accidently printing with the front flap closed. This has caused 2 major paper jams, which, if it were my old HP I would have had to buy a new one. With this epson, however, after removing the paper, it will print as if nothing ever happened. All I have to do is restart the print job.

For $99 I would recommend this printer to anyone. Photo quality is on par with a printer that would cost 3 times as much. Ink is about $30 for a black and color cartridge together. Compared to other brands, it is solid as a rock; at least for now.

Summary: 825 Very Poor
Review: Worked great for 30 days then it became impossible to get consistent color or print quality. It has gotten so bad that often I can not even get text quality. A complete waste of money. I am going to toss it and get something decent. I have spent more in ink trying to get it to work than the cost of the printer. A real lemon.
